@lilith101z I'm in complete agreement with otaku here. Studies like these are indeed essential to improve as an artist. In addition, sometimes a photo captures an essence of a person that inspires us to draw them exactly in that pose. It is a compliment to the photographer and the subject. Just because the artist did not establish his own pose for this one, does not mean he can not design his own. This painting still amazes me.

lol he used a basic three step proccess. Scketch ink color. I wouldn't be surprised to know he was using a clintiq or a tablet of some sort because this was just awesome! No way this was achieved with a mouse.

The purpose of mirroring the image is to compare the symmetry, even when the draw looks good if you flip it, you may find that the proportions or elements are in fact, misplaced. You'll be surprised how drawings that look good are in fact awful when mirroring.

That's so easy, it's one of the first brushes, the one with a hard edge. Just make it size 2 or 3 pixels and draw....
