@TheMatrixsystem it uses the audio in on the back of the virus...you can feed and audio signal from you sound card and then mess it around with Atomizer.:)

if you can't afford this, check out the vst sugarbytes artillery, you can program the midi keys to do any effect you want including the beat repeat stuff

While the kind of effect shown here isn't that impressive, you should know that Virus TI is mainly a SYNTHESIZER, not a sampler/rompler, so the comparison you make to samplers just shows how little you know about this stuff. It's like comparing apples handbags for instance; it just doesn't make sense. As for the screen; Why waste money on a fancy screen when 99% of the users will use it with a computer sequencer program? Learn your stuff before making a fool of yourself.

you should follow your own advice and stop making a fool of yourself: ROMPLERS are also SYNTHESIZERS, in case you didn't know, they have synth architecture: osc/filters/amps/effects. in fact, I can make so much more different types of electronic music on yamaha than on virus. korg has even radias virtual analog, mmt expansion board.

my vst plug ins like cakewalk rapture sound better than this overhyped piece of german-engineered junk (behringer, anyone?)

That's really interesting, then you must have a VERY different version of Cakewalk Rapture than the ones I've heard, or your ears just work quite differently than mine, since the Cakewalk Rapture I've heard doesn't even come close to the Virus when it comes to sound quality. You seem to confuse versatility with sound quality.

Well, I think it adds to making the Virus a more valuable all-around, performance tool. I'm quite sure the one found in the TI series is a bit more comprehensive than the ones in samplers and effects boxes. The Virus TI keyboard also has pitching in the higher octaves, so that's nice as well.
