I have one of the green military bladders and the water has a plastic taste to it. Why is this and is there anything I can do to eliminate the taste. Maybe it is because it was the first use?
@waltpage What we recommend doing is filling the reservoir with water and a squeeze of lemon then freeze it solid, thaw, rinse , and the plastic taste should be mostly removed. Often, when reservoirs have not been used in a while and both walls have been pressed together for a while, they can have a more plastic taste for a while.
