Love the song, the video not so much. It doesn't represent Ethiopia, well you can't talk about Ethiopia without half of the population which are Muslims.

@Abasss23 Most of Ethiopian history has strong ties to the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, whether you like it or not. Muslims came to Ethiopia to escape persecution from Mecca and by that time Christianity has already spread to most of Ethiopia. Muslims killed and Invaded Ethiopians in the 16th century. So is that what you call history? Plus if you listen to the lyrics, it's more of a mezmur than anything else.

@TOCRULES I take it you are talking about the Northern part of Ethiopia, Amhara and Tigriy areas are mostly Christians, but the rest of Ethiopian didn't become part of Ethiopian until 1899. Harar has been the Capital for the rest of Islamic Ethiopians. you people always forget that Ethiopia was not Ethiopia until Menelik before that there were many kingdoms. The same way the north has strong ties to the Church, we has strong tie to Islam.

Ahmad al-Ghazi, who was born near Harer, killed Ethiopian Christians and burned many churches. So is that Islam's contribution to Ethiopian history? Dgmw, Harer has a strong tie to Islam. Just recently in western Ethiopia, Muslims set fire to 59 church buildings and 28 Christian homes while more than 4,000 Christians have been forced to flee for their lives.

If you want a music that talks about Ethiopia, then I suggest you listen to Teddy Afro or even my favorite "Wegen Tesebseb" by Gossaye. Here GiGi is saying she sins everyday; her heart is full of hate and darkness. She's repenting and asking the lord to give her happiness in her life. And I hope you do the same. So basically, the videos is the perfect fit for the song.
