that is one very gutsy lady and props to her for singing it well and as close to being as filipino as you can get. too bad the judges didn't really get it. she's right and there are a lot of commonalities between malays and filipinos that you can imagine. bisaya, which is the language spoken in central and southern philippines is much closer to malay than tagalog. good luck fathin and keep it up!
