Last spring, I met a medical herbalist. She told me for the various health challenges I have, to just pick plantain leaves or the chickweed growing outside my door, put it in a blender with water and drink it. This was even before I heard about your DVDs , which I have yet to get. I always wanted to learn how to do foraging, because it has made sense that the most organic soil would be the unfarmed soil in the forests. I'm on your wavelength, but you are super motivated and a great entrepreneur
Good stuff. Native Americans for thousands of years knew about this stuff, but it's purposely being suppressed today and for the last 50+ years because the pharmaceutical industry (who also lobbies the politicians in government, the government also having control over education system today) doesn't want us to know about this because the healthier we are, the less money the pharmaceutical companies make. The sicker we, the richer they get.
Funny that he only recently learned what indigenous people all over the world knew for thousands of years. Perhaps hidden, forgotten about or did most of us get dumb and brainwashed by the, "This is what we think YOU NEED people." And now the awakening of the earths gifts... it's been hear all along.
dandelions greens (leaves) are good in a salad(wash them in ice water not warm water to keep them chrisp) got that from my grandma and the flower part is good for a tea or wine
@lurchthing Do you put the dandelion flower in iced or hot black tea, or do you make a tea from it? Thanks! I eat the leaves and flowers raw. right off the plant!
@xrnts yes, start with the safe ones you know. That's why I created this DVD set. All plants have a purpose, the "poisonous" ones are just very strong and shouldn't be used straight, but they all have a purpose and use.
a nice way to eat dandelions is hold the flower at the end, peel off the green bit around the flower and cut off the yellow petals on to your plate, makes the food pretty!
wonder if there is much difference between American/Irish plants?
The Oak Tree (wwwDOTwoodlandleagueDOTorg) pt 5 <<<<<< subscibe to these ppl they are amazing. they say there is something in the dandelion essential to bees.
It's high time we stop depending on money grabbing filthy rich companies who only provide temporary reliefs to illnesses and physiological problems THEY created in the first place. Our world gives us that which we need to live, we have lost the way and need to regain it. A video for my favourites!!
Great Vid! Title is similiar to what I said the other day! I'd have stayed in my home town and would have done gardening to live on healthy, raw food! Instead of that, I did live like most people do and over time, I became severely ill! Thanks to infos I found on watercure dot c, naturalsaltinfo dot c, strophantus dot de and many other sites alike, I've cured myself by 75 %! Rest is in the making! I grow my own food now! Mother Nature rules! Greetz, hand and ... stay healthy! Gerry S.
@Devon187 They wood as they lose their power if more and more people become informed that they can live from their beloved planet which provides all it's needs for us.
for 24.99 I can show you how to rub poison ivey on your lips to make 'em look fuller and attractive. For free you can go to the library and learn about plants in your local area.
in this green near my house theirs these plants that sting you, and there is some leafs and if u rub them on where you're stung it makes it go away almost instantly :D
The pharmaceutical gluttons don't want us knowing Mother Nature is better then those little "sugar pills" they sell for hundreds and thousands of dollars.
I only pick wild plants deep in the forest were the trees filters the air, im a bit worried if the wild plants are not good to eat because of bad air quality the airplanes brings... Is washing them enough? Your videos are incredibly awesome :) Wonderful!
Right on~! so true....nature has provided all we need.....you don't "need" meat either....fyi....no matter what anyone says you simply do not require meat to survive healthfully.
I've always loved Dandelion greens and share with our bunnies. Great info and one of the reasons I keep toxins out of our yard...Though I realize, I can't help what wafts over here from other yards, there's no denying, Food is medicine.
Common information available, if you have the time to do your own research! This is a Great "One Stop" source for natural wild craft medicinal plants. (SFTom)
wow,, I can't wait to learn more about this! my journey started by wanting to detox, next I learned about raw living foods, now wild weeds in my yard!!! this just keeps getting better! and all this learning has taken place just since the beginning of this year. thank you GOD and thank you Markus :) and all the others that are sharing what they know about real food for life. this IS awesome and so is God's master plan.. I'm SO THANKFUL
Just be careful about how you go about it. Tender new leaves aren't bitter but the older ones sure are. The flowers would be great in all kinds of smoothies, wine, jelly, ....
Very simple and helpfull.. I've been trying to do this for a week but now I'll be sure to have the mentality to go for it. However my parents think I'll be malnurished, I'll just start educating them more. If I don't have family support then I'll find a job.. whatever it takes.
Thanks for the helpfull yet simple info that could save lives.
I'm going to do this. The only problem is that my parents think that i'll be malnurished without meat...I'm 16 years btw. I want to start being healthy whatever it takes such as getting a job to buy raw healthy foods if I have no support from family.
@DigitialPlayer Your parents need to understand that there are a lot of sources of protein that have nothing at all to do with meat. As an example dried peas, which are great lightly seasoned, have more protein per weight than any kind of meat and you can get your iron from nuts, beans and dark leafy greens. Even Einstein said the world would be a lot better off if we were vegetarians. I'd run that by my parents like "so you're trying to call Einstein a fool?" Lol. Anyway, good luck to you.
Wow!!! I have heard of all of these plants but.....I never knew what they looked like. I couldn't find any pictures or videos until this came along!!! Thank You, Thank You, Thank you so much now!!! This is certainly a very big help!!

I find most 'weeds' very pretty to look at, and have said since I was a kid that it is odd that they are called 'weeds'since they are the strongest plants out there!!
Excellent... I just wish I has the money for your DVDs..
@TheAlexrice been eating large amounts every spring and onward for decades and they really feel like the super cleanser of them all when eaten..little bitter but nothing that's offensive and great with other greens
I ate this to cure my eczema when I was a child. My grandmothers idea... sometimes family really knows what's best for you. At the other hand... And I hated meat so much :) , so I became vegetarian when I was 13, for some reason I loved the fresh vegetables in my own kept garden. It's actually funny looking back now, that so many people said to me that I ate too much raw vegetables and fruit.
This is great information. I had a dog once who would just pig out on all the apricots under our apricot tree. Come to find out, he had a brain tumor and apricot seeds are the source for laetril, an anti-tumor agent. Keep an eye on what your animals eat outside. They know where the medicine is.
@tonymarie1984 You can eat off the ground if there are no toxins such as ROUNDUP or any other weed killer! Monsanto would have us believe we need neat green lawns. You will feel ur body say thank you for the whole real food your eating! The dandelion syrup taste like honey. Burdock soup is yummy! Rhubarb leaves are toxic and look similar burdock. Just make sure when you plan to harvest wild edibles you can id the correct plant and there are no sprayed chemicals.
@elephantrambo ...go to your local library & take a look at Indian Medicine books...they've used this stuff since the beginning! and as stated here in the comments...most all is now bottled at health food stores...most drug stores & at GNC stores...
@elephantrambo - ur kidding right? just messin with us? herbs have been used for hundreds and thousands of years - all the herbs mentioned in this clip have all been turned into supplements or you can buy them as teas, tinctures, etc...
80% of all pharmaceutical drugs are worthless and in fact, most of these drugs have a negative or dangerous effect on us. By the way, H1N1 influenza vaccine gift cards are on sale at Walgreens Drug Stores for $29.99. You can give the gift of Autism to your favorite child.
Using plants like this as medicine is great, but you need to know what you're doing. Please contact a herbologist or a homeopathic doctor before trying to self-diagnose and self-medicate!
