I can't tell... is the balance also spinning 360º? If not, this wouldn't be a real tourbillon. It's simply a moving vane above the balance which is powered by the Seconds hand gear. I have a Louis Bolle (Chinese made) watch with what looks to be of the same style. It's often confused as a tourbillon, and it really looks very cool, but it's not nearly as complex as a tourbillon and doesn't help counteract timing anomalies.

Let me just say I have a friend who had to pay over $5,000 for a repair for a perpetual calendar R.D. Imagine a tourbillon! I forgot to clarify, they are selling NEW for 30 cents on the dollar and that was before the recession we are in now.

Very nice! but an Alpha type can drop well over 250,000 for a watch that makes a Rolex look like junk is probley no a watch geek!
