Thanks for posting this. He died 2/272011, but only a few news agencies carried it. What a shame he and all the WWl soldiers are not given more attention and a place to honor them. I've walked the battlefield of Verdun & noted the holes in the ground from exploded shells cover the landscape. What a horror it must have been.
The Department of Veterans Affairs said he would be buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
