it's interesting to know that the actual ride itself isn't in the pirate facade that tourists see. it's in a hidden warehouse that's underground (?) and so that's why the ride takes several dives before reaching the actual attraction.

did anyone else notice at the 2:37 mark a decayed skeleton face?... I'm sure its a trick of light and shadow, but it even seems to be moving or saying something. Look along the right side of the screen. (just after the shot of the kid in the white hat in the other boat.) Pretty dammed freaky considering what the pirates looked like in the movie, but this seems even more real.

i think the hill is actually scarier because it goes slower, so it is longer.

@blubblub959 From Disney's "Disneyland Facts"... "No changes to the boat channel were made when the Johnny Depp animatronic characters were added"... The ride is the same length and same number of falls it has always had.

Both the Fla. and CA. versions are good. The Fla version is about half as long. I'm not crazy about tying it to the movie now, but it doesn't mess the ride up too much.

And now they changed the Anahiem, CA Disneyland version again... Incase ya'll don't know,Captin Jack Sparrow is on the ride now and so is that guy who fits him in the movie. And yes, it really does look like Johnny Dep. I went there this past moday, 9/18/06. Ya'll will love it! Just wanted to share. Love the video! :o)

yeah there is a big difference compared to the Disney World version! This one is a lot longer and has more drops, DW only has one drop and that's around "Dead Men Tell No Tales" Thanks!
