About the most exciting thing to happen in dalton... Nothing ever happens there, it was a cool place btw I'll miss it a lot.

While enroute to Kentucky on a train in Tennessee I heard the Georgia north end dispatcher talking to each train passing throught Dalton. She kept telling each train that the signal at Hair was out due to a fire. She gave them permission to pass the signal at restricted speed per the rules. This went on until I got out of radio range. I found out about Peacock Alley after arriving in Kentucky. My wife sent me a photo, boy was I shocked! I'm proud of my hometown and sure we'll fix this scar
