I'm against full-out competition without Parkour and even Freerunning, but I believe friendly competition is good... And these are what these guys are doing. They all know each other and they're not doing it to actually win but to just explore new ways to move with their bodies and create a new style for themselves. It's not fully competitive at all, nor is it truly acrobatics. ALL OF THOSE TRACEURS/FREERUNNERS FOLLOW THE PHILOSOPHY AND DISCIPLINE FOR WHAT IT TRULY IS.

While I believe Parkour and Freerunning should somehow be separated in some way, I also think a little bit more expression should be implemented into the training of Parkour to maybe better fulfill the philosophy and discipline.

This is not parkour nor free running, this is acrobatics and it's competitive, parkour is a lifestyle and a philosophical sport. Parkour can't be competition but Free running is all about style and being free in an environment so of course this was bound to happen. It's just like street skating.

I like this, there's a lot more flow that some of the other "Art of motion" events, where they just do a few separated gymnastics tricks. I like to see them flow over the obstacles with their own style and everybody using the terrain in a different way, not a routine with strict form.

I am a big Parkour fan but this is kind of lame. First off, this isn't Parkour. It is free running. Parkour = getting from A to B with flow. Free running = using buildings and objects to do random gymnastics, all style.

Second, free running is cool too, but not in a set up arena. I had this idea years ago, but decided it ruins the whole idea of the sport.
