Where should I look if I'd like to become a massage therapist? I have a lot of practice on parents, friends and such, and have watched a lot of videos, instructional and not. But I do not know of any schools I can attend. Any refferences?
I get a little uncomfortable when the pressure is a bit hard (at the back of my hands) I prefer having my palm rubbed and pressed. More power to you Mr. Green. Keep it up!
A bit of advice: If you're going to use that background, you should probably be wearing a shirt that is a solid color, complimentary to the background. Maybe a blue or a purple. With the shirt you're wearing, your video is just too busy and too ORANGE. It's actually a good idea to stick with cool colors for backgrounds and warm colors for foregrounds, since warm colors tend to draw more attention than cool colors. Also, a $30 lav mic will improve your audio quality.
not sure if my msg went through. if you search under MEDICAL MASSAGE...youll find a guy named Boris P. I think his username is mgaft. he has great advice and usually responds pretty quick. good luck
Same problem here man, although not as bad as u... U ever tried like wrist and forearm workouts to strengthen them? Helped a bit for me. Also always wrap ur hands well, but I guess u already do that...
@boxerdulce look for a Chiropractor that does extremity adjusting to deal with possible wrist and forearm subluxations....then have a massage therapist work on the muscles
@Subfightr massage therapists are more into natural healing and so are chiropractors.. most MD you go to wont really help get rid of the root problem, they will just subscribe a pill for you to take to cover it up =)
@bodyworkdvd Seeing a physical therapist is always a good suggestion as well. Muscles need to be strengthened rather just being treated for the symptoms.
Yep 5 stars from me too, there are hardly any vids on handmassages and if there are the comment is not there or lousy. I enjoyed this one good work and thanx

I'd like to ask something:

@sash1bg i would first start by contacting the governmental body that regulates massage in your state. Visit many schools and talk to many students.

Why do massage therapists always recommend a person to see a Chiropractor as opposed to a medical doctor?
Subfightr 1 year ago 6
because MDs have little to no training in spinal and joint biomechanics or in joint subluxations or misalignments
