  • 1:28 | And now some strange guys thought these lights are from an UFO.

  • Thought it only appropriate to post a video response (showing our newest rocket vid) to this video, which provided the inspiration for our sound track! Hope you're well, neighbor.

  • @Rapidnadion What an awesome video. Looks like a good start for a New Year of Rapidnadion videos! Keep up the good work.

  • @harmsworth1 Thanks! And thanks again for the inspiration. Adding some credit to you on our video description.

  • Awesome slow motion launch!

  • Was that a D or E engine on this launch? Looks like an E due to the height. Nice blue sky compared to my launches. Going to try again soon. I did break a fin on a landing, but I had an extra set made just in case. lol.

  • @etchasketch1515 It was a D12-3

  • Harmsworth: Finally not windy enough to launch my Mercury Atlas. It launched well. Cloud cover made it difficult to followm see and film. 5 launches. Fins broke on one side upon a landing, but I had another set made. All D engines. Was going to go for the last E engine, but the D spacer was wedged in there and couldn't get it out. Next time. Go to etchasketch1515. I have a bunch of little rocket launches as well. Haven't done this in years. Fun!!!

  • I had such a hard time trying to put the retro tower together and getting it to point straight up that I ordered a second set and don't want the thing to break upon landing. It comes with the 12" parachute and I put an 18" on. Plus it is superglued to the max!! I'll film the launch when I get to it.

  • @etchasketch1515 Great, I look forward to seeing it.

  • Beautiful footage, the best one i've seen so far, love that Mercury Atlas. Love the flight and the camera angle.

  • Outstanding! Love the synchronization with the soundtrack elements. Beautiful slow-mo footage as well. Excellent work.

  • @Rapidnadion Thanks Mike, that means a lot coming from Rapidnadion. I'm still a big fan of your videos

  • @harmsworth1 Likewise, and I meant every word. Got a shout-out coming your way in the Friends section our upcoming project ... nothing big, but have a gander at our Facebook page early next week!

  • Well done with the radio communication. How much of an angle for the upper stage did you have for the parachute? I'm finishing mine now and don't know if it should land upright and fall over or almost horzontal so not to break the retro tower.

  • @etchasketch1515 I have it horizontal. Thanks for the compliment.

  • Nice flight!

  • @v16050118130114 thanks
