  • How much did the swap cost?

  • i have the same ones on my truck

  • i was gonna say just come off each side since its a V, thats what im gonna do eventually. then i realised, its a straight 6.

  • Lets see it blow some smoke! Sick truck man i did this same thing to my 79 highboy except i used the 12 valve

  • @OUTWatch19 hey man! im in the process of putn a 24 valve into my 79 1 ton ....would u post some vides???

  • hey man! thats a nice truck!!!! can u put some videos of it driving around or blowing smoke man? .....nice truck!!!

  • Nice job

  • i like to see this kind of work . I have one concern and i would do at least one thing differently and it is to flex mount your stacks to the bed you will be cracking and breaking the mounts often and the vibration will drive you crazy. i know this from experience. use at minimum rubber isolaters

  • its a dodge, trapped in the body of a ford

  • @Goaliewester9 No its a cummins. A dodge is just the piece of shit they put the cummins into. What this guy did is every diesel lovers dream, drop a cummins in a ford!

  • WOW POWERSTROKE SUCKS THAT MUCH U HAVE TO PUT O CUMMINS IN IT

  • i did the same thing only mines a chevy truck, same year and engine:)

  • What is the purpose of those stack pipes on this truck vs the exhaust that ran underneath?

  • i usually dont like stacks but man can that truck rock the stacks. That is one damn good lookin truck you got there sir

  • That truck is awesome, what a great look with the stacks.

  • Great video thanks bud, stacks looks great. Im doing the same on my cummins!

  • Personally I'm not a fan of in-bed split offs, still looks clean though. I have a single 3" with a cap on my 81 F150 on a 300 gasser- when I buy the next truck I'm going to throw a 5.9 in there and do an under bed split off into twin 5" Stacks.

  • @ArcticRenegade I was thinking of doing a 5" split after the downpipe, but after pricing out all the material that would be needed it was much cheaper to buy the pre-made kit plus it was easy to install. And besides that I don't think much performance is really lost as a single 4 or 5" would provide all the breathing necessary for lots of HP. However, I wanted the symmetrical look of twin stacks and I got what I wanted at the cheapest cost.

  • @steturne Yeah plenty of flow, I was just stating an opinion :) I think I'd rather spend an extra $50 and have it split off and run under, and be completely happy with it, than split it off in bed- which In my opinion looks a little funky. /my 2 cents

  • 35 bucks? nice investment man

  • I love the way you did it but is the drive shaft moving gonna hit it?

  • @MrThisIsMeToo...That is the most ignorant comment you could put. I'm pretty sure stacks have absolutely nothing to do with the size of your penis. I'm guessing you drive a civic or something. Why even leave a comment like that. This truck is American an badass!

  • Oh and I love the truck

  • @MrThisIsMeToo Here I'll make this 'un real clear to ya and idiot proof it. Nobody likes a smart ass like you, and no there ain't a thing wrong with this comment you can check the spellin' , grammer, and punctuation. You dip shit.

  • my cummins came with a stack already on it, but instead of changing the whole exhaust, it uses a 3" in 4" out muffler before the turn up to attached to stock exhaust

  • you should have to recite the pledge of allegiance while you watch this video..GODDAMN 65!?!? beautiful is right!

  • hey man thats a beautiful truck you've got there, if my 12v wasn't already in awesome shape id definitely swap the same 65' f100 body lol

  • I want your truck....

I'll give you my 96 Bronco, lol.

  • you having any problems with your flexpipe leaking from rusting out? I put a grand rock kit on my 99 ram 3500, its been on there over a year and im debating on having a muffler shop bend me a custom piece that matches the flex

  • sweet build

  • 35 dollars?!?! i cant find a set for less then 500

  • good job dude. nice truck

  • what year is your 24 valve?

  • Wow, I cannot believe how much those stacks belong on that truck. They look like a factory option. Really nice, love it.

  • nice truck man i have a 74 f250 4x4 high boy and im planning on doing a 12 valve cummins swap

  • this was to much pipe in the truck bed just need a 2 by 6 in tubing at the bottom of the bed and put your stacks on top of it

  • wtf. a ford with a cummins???

  • Wow man, i definately respect ur truck...ALOT of character! Keep up the good work, looks like that truck was a really fun project?

  • 3:25 yes we do

  • @MrThisIsMeToo dude ur stupid.

  • @MrThisIsMeToo Why do you need such a huge fart can on ur ricer? "Or does it have to do something with a small penis?" Seriously homo...next time you have a thought, just let it go...the end.

  • @MrThisIsMeToo Tractors, construction equipment, big rigs, you name it, if it's Diesel it probably has stacks. I'm around such equipment on a daily basis being a construction PM. I realize that the dainty machines you are around likely don't have stacks, and your segway likely doesn't have stacks either. But to me it makes perfect sense and is a classic representation and tribute to diesel power.

  • @MrThisIsMeToo pwnd

  • @MrThisIsMeToo you drive a civic dont you?

  • @MrThisIsMeToo back in the day farmers would have staks on there pickup trucks for when they are haling live stock the diesel fumes would not float into the trailer so people just started to do it to the pickup trucks

  • @MrThisIsMeToo no its a big penis thing. i need an 8" stack to stick my dick in. fag

  • @MrThisIsMeToo you are blocked....you probably drive a Honda or something.

  • @MrThisIsMeToo are you a tard?

  • @MrThisIsMeToo haha totaly agree!

  • has anyone ever told you you sound similar to nicholas cage? lol. nice truck "nick" lmao.

  • are you planning to do a p-pump swap?

or are you content with the power limitations the vp44 has?

  • nice looking truck, how much is that stack kit anyway? ive seen a decent amount of people using them

  • Awesome! I would love to do a project like this one day.

  • did you use a C6 transmission with the cummins? or do u know if it will hook up to a c6?

  • my uncle has a 92 ford f-150 that he just gave me, its in great condition with just at, 120,000 miles, what would you recommend, you having a similar truck?

  • @gasflame62 If you want to do a cummins swap, buy a donor truck. I would recommend a 94-97 12 valve manual cummins. you can pick them up for around $5k-10k if you look, and you will have pretty much every part you'll need. This truck has a 24 valve and there is just way too much wiring, plus, the 1998.5-2002 motors are the least desired motors because of fuel delivery problems... this all can be fixed, but you would be better off to use a 12 valve.

  • @steturne i got a 96 12 valve, i hate the dodge truck with a passion...absolute garbage truck, im looking to put the motor in a ford, probably a 97 crewcab longbox i love the looks of the trucks..all i need is the adapter plate for the tranny (im gonna use the ford 5 speed cause the nv-4500 is garbage) plus ill need the motor mounts, i also heard u need the ford starter too fit the motor..is there anything else id need to know?

  • @foxracing3750

how do you figure the NV4500 is junk? the only problem is the 5th gear nut like to come off but you can fix that problem. i know quite a few people running lots of power through a NV4500 with no problems. adapter plates are 7-800 bucks so I would look heavily into keeping the NV.

and even if you keep the ford ZF5 i would recommend using the dodge starter. talk to the guys at fordcummins.

  • @gasflame62

just done the swap to a 94 F-150. 12 valve. if you want some info I can tell you pretty much anything you need to know. send me a message dude.

  • @gasflame62 hows a '65 and a '92 similar?

  • @jordtizzle they are made by ford aren't they? i just need to know where they would go.

  • @gasflame62 my bad,

  • you should put you some 12in tip from pypes exhaust

  • @avtrider44

12 inch stacks? might as well put a "diesel ricer" sticker across your back window. 7 is plenty big enough

  • not thats a truck bro..nice!!

  • nice truck, how much was it to put the cummins in? did you do it yourself or get it done somewhere?

  • well thats a really cool truck. i like that you put the cummins in an old pickup, makes it even better!

  • everyday driver?

  • @alecm94 I try not to drive it in the rain or snow. The cab is not completely waterproof. Otherwise yes.

  • is that a 4x4?

  • @thechooch013 yes it is

  • @steturne if you wanna sell the truck let me know... lol awesome truck by the way

  • @steturne if you want to sell that let me know!
