As an American Marine I just want to say I love Japan and their people. There remains an inseparable alliance that was created out of a separable difference. In the rural part of the Midwest we are praying for you daily...even as over 300 of our citizens were sucked up from tornadoes and the worst flood in the history of the USA is upon us we remember those that were lost in Japan and keep you in our prayers.
Easter Sunday we started by praying for Japan. We know you will prevail.
I was much removed by your comment that made me know about such many people are praying for this country and the people who are there in this country.
We promise you that we would never give up and do our best to reward all of you!!
Thank you very much for everyone !! Please don't worry. We all passengers escaped out by the staffs of this station. (This station has been OK after then!!) We are OK!! :)

自分はアメリカにいるからニュースで見たのと所沢にいる家族から聞いた話しか知りません。所沢は大体のところ大丈夫だったみたいで良かったですね。

死者・行方不明者が２０，０００人を超えていて、まだ行方不明者の捜索が続いております。
こんな中、被災者の皆さんには申し訳無い想いがしますが、所沢の東側の練馬区の岩盤土壌にブロックされ、大きな被害が出なかったと思われます。
東京都では死者が出ております。所沢は東京都の隣、紙一重でした。（私も東京都民ですが(^_^;)）
アメリカでも到達した津波により亡くなった方がいらっしゃるとの事で、心よりご冥福をお祈り申し上げます。

よく利用･乗り換えに使う駅。および主要路線なんですが、なんだかんだあるけれど、西武線は好きです。運転が抜群(＾＾；)(池袋泉･池袋構内に入る時のたまにある微妙な速度調節など)
ホント、安心感を与えてくれる、避難誘導アナウンスですね。

皆さん、コメントありがとうございました。私はこの後、他の人たちと無事避難しましたが、駅は倒壊せずに済み、現在も修復する事もなく稼働中ですので、ご安心ください。
