Those in the vidoe make the link between affordable education and the "Land Grant" mission of UIUC. Land Grant Institutions were created to provide affordable education to working class people. Others in the video make the connection between preserving quality education and protecting smaller class sizes. In particular TA positions need to be protected as well as the ability to assess learning through written responses, as opposed to standardized tests.

If you can not afford to go to a school, go to a community college, your state university etc. The rich cant pay for everything for everyone who say they can not afford it. Stop expecting the government to steal money from others in the form of taxes, so you can feel good about getting something for nothing. Let me just make a note, I do not have a college degree, I graduate High School, however I learned computers myslf
