i love disney cruise ship but i migh be going on the fantasy in jul or later but i think the fantasy is the BEST! OF THE BEST once you get all the imformation. it migh be a litttle pricey but it worth it with water roller coster and fireworks & more! p.s there this dining place where you get to draw your own charaters well i wont spoil it i let you look online at disney.com under travel on it jurney to america
The Allure and Oasis are realy cool, but i think Disney hit the nail on the head, that thing looks too cool inside! It's what reminds me of a real luxury liner, they kept the same Edwardian style to it (Titanic Style) I mean so what if it isn't as BIG, bigger isnt always better, especially when it comes to cruise ships, they just seem to cram more people on the bigger ones. But both are really innovative, but when it comes to looks, Dream looks like a ship, Allure looks like a floating hotel
No the allure of the seas is more family direct because it has a boardwalk with a carousel and a flow rider, ice skating, a whole kids water park and a lot more! Why dont u go on the allure! It smokes the Disney that piece of crap
Disney wins by a long shot. its more kid friendly and the Cast Members are a delight. very kind and generous. and well its the only cruise in the world that has its very own fireworks show and that has a water coaster.
Well, I only go on RCI because I love them so much. Last month I was aboard the Monarch of the seas. And last year I was on Freedom. This summer planning on going aboard Liberty or Magesty of the Seas. I dont know which ship I should do, so what ship SHOULD I go on???
I've only been traveling w/ RCL, they ARE the best. I'm 12 now and I've been on 3 :)
Last year I was on Liberty of the Seas and Disney was beside us. It was so small, + Allure is even bigger than Liberty. If you wanna go to a cruise, pick Royal Caribbean.
@EDTheBloodRider But Disney has better service, and they are still big enough you can't feel the waves. Just, a tiny bit on the FIRST night at the show but other than that, you can't feel it at all, they are both great cruise lines but I have to go with Disney.
@tkunkel4395 I see your arguments, but you can't whine on RCL's serevice. They're really friendly and talky but not so it's annoying :) Plus inside the boat itself (Allure) it's WAY better. I mean like alot better, it's fantastic inside. Although I respect your choice :) Both beatiful ships, indeed.
Really cant go wrong with either cuise line or cruise ship. Own Disney timeshare and have been of 13 RCL cruises. Looking forward to going on both Oasis and Allure!
Carnival was trying to build a mega ship of its own but the Coast Guard won't let em because there gonna put some sort of size restriction onto cruise ships apparently. (Got told this on my last cruise in September by our cruise director.)
I've been on both and they are absolutely incredible I'm a huge cruise fanatic.. And both are great you really can't choose unless you've been on both ships
FUCK YOU The Disney Dream is one of the four DAMN coolest ships in the entire FUCKING UNIVERSE! all the allure and oasis have on DCL is having BIG FAT ASSES that serve no
Purpose and will look like piles of shit in a few years the DCL ships could be a billion years old and still look BRAND FUCKING NEW you skanky little slut!
I'm sorry, but both the Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas received MASSIVE worldwide attention before and after being put into service. The Disney Dream went pretty much unnoticed. That's not to say it's not a fabulous ship. But it brings nothing new or innovative to the cruising world. The Royal Caribbean ships did. The only people who would find the Disney Dream more appealing, would be kids or families, and even that's subject to debate.
I'm sorry, but both the Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas received MASSIVE worldwide attention before and after being put into service. The Disney Dream went pretty much unnoticed. for ALLURE OF THE SEAS you put almost all Oasis of the seas pictures,i know they look the same but still and allure of the seas is under construction and you put pictures how she sails.....WTF?.....PS DISNEY DREAM<3
I am sorry but I just can't see me having fun on this without my legs getting sore from the size of this thing. The dream is a simple and everything you need for entertainment is close by. Plus, I really don't think this ship is famous for being fun or family friendly. Only because it's big. I would rather go with Disney where good memories can be made and I can sorta go back in time to when I was a child. :)
Sorry Allure fans but that is kinda where old geezers go to when they cruise. Royal Caribbean. Disney is fir pretty much all ages. Now you can come here geezers. :)
Both are better for their own reasons. Personally I love the dream way better because of the service and fun activities. I am 12 so I would prefer the dream more than the allure. Size doesn't always matter it is about the memories that are made. I think as long as you have that's all that really matters. Allure may be big but the Dream is family and fun friendly. -Abigail
I hope you americans are pleased with our boats. We do it smaller scale too with unrivalled quality. Swan and Baltic boats. For the rich people of the world.
@freshicedcoke but not as good as allure 1st it has cuteeeee boyzz no fuking joke all hang around ALLLLLL over the ship and in the teen club and 2 the flow rider is amazing and u NEVER get bored on the ship
I have been on both boats. Here is my review: Disney Dream: Great Staff Clean Ship Good Food Nice Decor Free Food Allure Of the Seas: More things to do Better night life Larger Staterooms So if you are a family man, go on the Disney dream. If your a night life person go on allure of the seas.
allure is so much better then the disney dream trust me been on both and though they are both amazing allure of the seas is more of a dream then disney dream will ever be
@ericaskye101 That is only your opinion. The Allure has many nice features, but overall it is just a plain hotel at sea. Disney Dream has flare and is uniquely different than the typical ships being built today by Carnival and RCL and others. Dream may not be as big as the Allure, but it isn't about the size. It is about the quality of the experience. RCL is a middle of the road cruise line whereas Disney is a top trier cruise line with large scale ships.
I say dis eye better. Royal carribean have too much smoking areas and Disney is kid friendly. Disney doesn't have activities just for kids they have it for adults and teen and Tweens and a nursery!
i have never been on a cruise in my entire life, but now i am going to go on a cruise ship for the first time ever!!!!!!! -not because of this video- my parents are booking the trip!!!!! what ship you may ask? none other than the biggest cruise ship on earth! Allure Of The Seas!!!!!!!!!!!!
I personally think the allure is far superior to the dream. I just recently was on a 7-day cruise around the carribean on the allure. I wished I would have had a longer cruise. Definitely one of the best ships I've been on. Despite popular belief, the allure of the seas is not just for older people. On board, there were many activities for the young and the old, such as bingo, cupcake decorating classes, and the flow rider.
As others have said, bigger is not always better. The Disney Dream is an engineering marvel, and I for one like the smaller design (still trying to figure out how 120,000 tones is considered small now. LOL!) The Disney Dream also has finesse and poise that the Allure/Oasis lack. Disney's attention to detail is second to none. The Dream is truly a work of art.
Oasis and Allure just can't compete. Their size is their best feature. How unfortunate.
i like queen mary 2 (QM2) and oasis of the seas disney is ok disney dream is cool but is nothing compared to oasis and allure of the seas and qm2 so allure and oasis :)
Wow Disney Dream looks like a real svelte beauty, the two tone paint work and the sharp nose really make it look good, almost like a large private yacht.
Still 4000 guests and nearly 5500 on the Allure, for me its just too many people. I was recently on the Azura (P&O) and I thought that had too many people for its size (2900).
Allure was berthed next to us in St. Maarten and what a beast! Pretty vulgar-tronic though as it sailed away with all its sparkly neon lights.
Disney is new to the game and forget watercoasters as compared to the flowrider, or the sheer size and offerings that royal has over Disney; the simple fact that there is no casino on Disney makes it the loser hands down. I have been on both and I can tell you that royal service, offerings and specialty restaurants, for those of you who can afford it, are far superior.
@gc11236 The specialty restaurants are a scam. You pay how much to go on a cruise to have all food covered and these mega ships now include "specialty" restaurant that charge an additional fee to eat there. So much for that all-inclusive cruise price. And a number of those "specialty" restaurants are chain restaurants you would find back home. Big deal. And on Disney ALL of the soft drinks are complimentary the entire time you are on the ship. Only cruise line to offer that service
@jdowney429 Sorry man, nothing touches the monster that is Allure of the seas. Ship is the largest on the planet and most innovative in terms of design and technology. Im not speaking out of my ass here im a gold member aboard Royal Caribbean and ive been on enough of them to know which is top
i went on allure of the seas and last time i checked they don't have the first water coaster @seas and they are not the first ship to be allowed to have fireworks @sea also they have alot of cool youth clubs unlike allure and also who wants to feel like they're in new york i think some people are trting to atke a vacation and plus why did they waste all the space on a mall with a food court i mean that's why they created something called a resturaunt and the cruise is so boring i vote Disney
@tupsumato On Disney ships, you don't notice all of the kids. In fact, the only times you notice the "loads of people" are when the ship is at a port.
Disney dream by far, that royal Caribbean looks so tacky and ostentatious. would you really want to cruise with 6,000 other people? I don't think so. The dream is so elegant looking.
