@patton303 Ummmm, you have that a little backwards. It was a viral advertisement. I work in online ads. We do this kind of thing all the time. It's all about shock value. The thing that's funny is...... If it's on the internet 100,000 people + thinks it's true. It's so easy to manipulate minds it's kinda scary.
@patton303 SO the end result is....... Drum Roll Please....... It's a viral Video!!! It's not semantics it's facts :) In the industry it's flat out called "Making a viral vid". Correct, it is based on intention, but the end result is all we care about. Hence why it is known as a viral advertisement. There are no more semantics. It's all corporate manipulation. I wasn't trying to be rude I was trying to educate :) sorry if you took it the wrong way. It's ok that you didn't know how it works.
Wait, is it HOPA or HPOA?

@patton303
ummmm
1. Nobody really cares
2. If you want to talk semantics, you can't call it viral until a shitload of people watch it and it spreads. (kind of like, ummmm, a VIRUS!)
3. Just because you call it viral and wish it to be, it doesn't make it so.
4. Therefore you have an "advertisement" that you hope will go viral.
Like this one did.
5. Ummm you're welcome

@D1BonGo
I've been composing music for corporate commercial advertising for 15 years.
Never, not even once, have I ever heard that phrase for a spot before post.

Although it was a brilliant advert, I must admit I was so disappointed it wasn't a true story.

@BordelloBabe I agree... I was a very disappointed to find that out. I think we have all been in that place of "$%&*@#!%&*$#@ this job."
