this game is awesome, the later fights actually make you want to think on what your next move should be, sometimes though it feels like a puzzle.... with guns...... And that keeps the puzzle-ish parts from being boring lol

This game is seriously RPG of the year material! And to everyone that thinks that the graphics sux... What are you on? If you actually played it you would realize how beautiful it is.

This is the anime style graphics that was used in Tales of Symphonia and Eternal Sonata, so if you liked those games but didn't like this, you got some issues.

And I wouldn't classify it as a straight up RPG, it would be more like a.... Tactical RPG. even though there are some more "free" aspects rather than a cell grid (square by square map) to walk on, It would not be considered a full RPG.

True it is considered a SRPG (and if some people really want to nitpick it down, JSRPG), But its still a RPG in general. The only thing that puts it in a SRPG category is the way battles are played out.

Other than that it follows most other RPG formulas for the story. But They did a good job by doing it right. ;)

they should release this for the PS2. Final Fantasy XII was A LOT more graphic intensive, and that game flowed smooth. This preview at least, shows it to be pretty basic. so unless they have awesome effects for spells and such, this is blah.
