  • Doesn't Shasta make Colas too? Are they allowed to have shampoo in the U.K.?

  • Balsamic vinegar would be no good?

  • @MikeHuntsHD no you want to use distilled white vinegar.

  • 1:37 what kind of brush is that?

  • @Dhari1 that is a havanna handle "greys" brush from shaveplace(dot)com.

  • Hey Mantic, I've seen commercials for "lectric shave" and they say you splash it on before shaving to make the stubble stand on end for a closer shave. It's meant for electric razors.( the horror) but maybe it will do the same thing under a coat of lather too. Any thoughts?

  • Arrggh! Mantic, you are about to burst into flames! Why do you have a lightswitch in your bathroom so close to you sink?

  • @SkodaMart yeah, i know. wasn't my idea, that's where the plumbing is.

  • What's the name of the kitty?

  • @dylandior123 Harley

  • Aww cool.

Excellent video as always. I'm saving up for a badger hair bush. I'm currently using an Erasmic Pure Bristle shave brush. It feels a bit scratchty on my face, though. It's made of hog hair. That could be why. Can I still clean that brush with either vinegar, pet shampoo, or borax?

Meow meow meow to Harley hehe :)

  • @dylandior123 boar hair is animal hair too so sure, those methods should work fine.

  • Thanks again for your help.

    :)

  • Oh I never thought of ebay.

I wish I found your channel sooner. Full of good tips snd advice.

Thankyou so so much. I shall let you know when I find one a good brush.

    :)

  • @mantic59 Harley's very cute. How old is he?

  • @Shangas he's about 7 years old now.

  • Silly question: has anyone else ever had a cat try to rip a new badger brush to shreds?

  • The Vinegar option works well for me. I use a Floppy 'ol Vulfix though.

  • Like, er, I got my dog all dirty with this shampoo. That's got to be bad, right? Can you recommend a soap that will remove all this soap?

  • Do you prefer a stiff or a floppy brush?

  • @joscobo i prefer a brush a little on the stiff side, but its a personal preference kind of thing.

  • well I can understand the pet shampoo thing as it's made of animal. unless it's synthetic lol

  • Borax isn't commonly available here in the UK anymore (safety reasons).

Pet shampoo? That's no different from human shampoo or, say, dish detergent. If there's a difference (besides the packaging) then please inform me.

You didn't explain when I asked last time why and when you'd need to clean your brush.

  • Yes vinegar exists in the rest of the world, lol.

  • dude.. is it just me.. or is he just making the same videos over and over again?

  • @vthomlinson yes, a couple of the Q&A's could be considered "repeats" of other videos. I guess I have so many that people forget the earlier ones.

  • Great little series mantic, these were so helpful.

  • I thought I would just throw mine in the dishwasher. Just kidding!

  • i love cats

  • @TheGamegangsta2 I love pussy too

  • Dude it's a little unseemly to upload so many videos of yoruself at once. HAW HAW HAW HAW HAW!!!!!!!!!

  • @MarkGauvreau can't keep up with me, eh? :)

  • We have Vinegar in the UK.

  • @SAHousemaster is it reasonably widely available? i ask because i was told a couple years ago it wasnt a common item in groceries in the UK.

  • @mantic59

How can something like vinegar not be available? You even put it on your fries in the UK, don't you?

Borax is something you might have to deliberately search for, but some ordinary white vinegar seems to be a pretty common item.

  • @mantic59 Distilled white vinegar is often sold as a cleaning product in health food stores. But white malt vinegar should be widely available as a cooking product.

  • @SAHousemaster OK, got it. Its the white vinegar you should be looking for.
