@CelestialTennyo I havent had the needles get stuck in them while cleaning them out, but I will admit they get clogged very very easy. You need to unclog them almost before every use which is kind of a pain but after that it works great. And if you do not use a top coat your design will peal right off the same day thats the only downfall I have had with mine.

Since you use art pens, I was wondering if you have any advice or tips when applying the clear coat on the nails?

I would have a design done on my nails, but once I put on the clear cut, it would smudge the design. = [

@CelestialTennyo Well make sure your design is dry before you put on a clear coat. And another thing is when you do clear coats, just do three streaks. One down the middle and one on each side so not apply it more then once on each part or it will smudge easier. And wait for that to dry very good before doing another coat.

@ladyfaealicia They work pretty good for doing designs actually as long as you have a steady hand. I do still use them quite a bit. Some of them are better then others because some are shimmer colors and some are more creamy colors. But remember, they are not the ideal polish to use all over the nail. when you use them for a design they are opaque though and pretty good =)

I was interested in buying the " 2 ways" polishes, but I was wondering if the polish is good...if it's pigmented and what kind of consistence it has! I don't like sticky/going-to-dry-out polishes :)

@Angie2Pink Well one thing about these polishes, is they are not good to use on your whole nail, but are good to use as just painting a design with. Most of them are very pigmented, there are very few that are really sheer. I have not had a problem with them being sticky or drying out at all and I have had them for a little over a year now so they are good when it comes to that =) The only downfall is they do chip really really easy you need to find a crazy good top coat.

@curlyqluvzu2 they can be found on ebay in sets of 12, 24, 48, and 60. Depending on how much the shipping cost + price and how many you order you'll have to pay more or less. I think 24 polishes = $15, and 60 polishes= $36... around that.

And the Nail Star set was a Christmas present from my mom because she knew I wanted it so much because I love nail art. She also doesnt mind me doing her nails too so she gets use out of it as well hehe

Well my mom is a doctor so she on;y really gets her toes done because before and after her operations she has to scrub her nail so the nail polish will just scrap off!!!! And my mom is really strict with nail polish and she does not let me buy colours that are really dark but all the light colours that I have tried didn't really look good on me!! And I am really into dark colours!!! And I want more nail polish but my mom is so predictible that I already know her answer (NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

I can see kind of where she is comming from. Well talk to her about maybe using light colors and doing a dark stripe tiny little design with a darker color. To make it look better instead of painting your whole nail in the dark color. Like maybe if you have a really really light pink, do very tiny black dots. She may let you get other colors as long as you wear it that way?

When i recieved the package I will be honest it was not really packaged well, and two of the polishes did leak just a little bit but it was not bad at all. But they are not glass bottles so they are not breakable. But I am not positive, but I think the seller might of been e.beautyshop24

Yeah I do have the same prob =( I try to file the top of my nails just a little bit and it does help a little though. I am also trying to find a good top coat that will seal it in and when I do ill let you know!

i've found that if u use a good base coat then a normal polish for the background and only use nail star for small details then a decent top coat they can satay on quite a while.

Ok on the bottom of of polish does it come with a sticker with a littlepin thingy with a circle at the end? If so, take the little pin thingy and put it in the tip of the pen and kinda pump it, it should clear it out. You also might have to squeeze really hard keep in mind. some might work better then others.

Thanks =) But my opinion about "cheap" nail polish is if you have a good top coat to seal in the color, there is no such thing as really bad polish unless its like gloopy and thick ^_^ I have lots of cheap polish, like the little Bon Bon polishes you get at walmart surprisingly last one of the longest for me!

Well one thing that really helps is if you take a nail file, or buy a buffer thingy and just make the top of your nail kinda rough. The polish will still look smooth but it tends to stay on a lot better ^_^

They are very good for making designs. The only complaints I have is the pen tip will sometimes clog, but just use a needle and clean it out. And also the color chips easy, so use it just as a design, not for painting your whole nail, and make sure you have a good top coat. But yeah, besides that, the colors really are amazing and I dont regret buying them at all!
