Knuckles was SAID to be in the game, and really should have been, since this has to do with the Chaos Emeralds, but didnt appear. Shadow was said to be in it too, he didnt appear either. :I

Tails and knuckles are both on sonic unleashed, except that they don't appear on the act. stages as show on this video,but they are in the game. And you can't play as any other character but sonic. There are a very few missions in which tails and knuckles help, but the player can not control them(obviously). So play the game and then post dumb comments people.

No, he's not on the 360 either. I made a mistake on that comment because I was playing the game at that point and since I saw tails, I thought knuckles was there too, but he wasn't. Unleashed it's a good game, but I really miss the Sonic Adventure games, where all of sonic's friends appeared.
