However, the New York area and King Kong were destroyed.The tour guide told me it should be done by mid summer this year. However, King Kong will not be part of the ride. They are going to replace it with a more up to date attraction. Rumor is it will be Transformers.

court house square has been changed a long time ago, it is now being used on the tv show ghostwhisper. and only the side of the court house was burnt and some of the buildings onthe side of it. but like all things in the movie industry it will be back better then ever

This is not a huge deal, but considering the King Kong exhibit, which is very old, was destroyed. That is a big loss. They have the schematics so they will be-able to rebuilt the sets, but still, a big loss.

no the back to the future ride is now the simpsons ride, they just changed it, and added more movements to the simmulator. so it is nicer now.

Excuse me, but before anybody makes pronouncements on the 'Karma' of this terrible occurrence, I would just like to point out that this was clearly NOT a natural disaster.
This was obviously most likely an arson, considering that it happened in a place that the public have access to- this is terrible, and a HORRIFYING crime.
The perpetrators will be VERY sorry, because I understand that the studios had security cameras all around?
Rather than prove Karma, you have proven zealots dangerous!!!!!!

NBC-UNIVERSAL has Insuranc..they will have it rebuilt the backlot that is...probably does this mean the rebuilt of King Kong would be an stand alone ride then having the tram go thru it?

It was interesting at first you know I'm not happy about the way the Hollywood is treating the Chinese because I don't think anyone should be unkind to anyone else,And then this Fire and all this stuff happened, and then I thought, is that karma? When you're not nice that the bad things happen to you?

So Sharon Stone is Hollywood? She's the only one who made the ignorant comment. You didn't quote her words, you paraphrased it but tried to make it sound like it's Hollywood's fault for the fire. And yes, there is a good portion of Chinese Americans working in Hollywood... so what does that mean if your comment is true?

This is not a huge deal, but considering the King Kong exhibit, which is very old, was destroyed. That is a big loss. They have the schematics so they will be-able to rebuilt the sets, but still, a big loss.
