  • isnt youtube for enjoying videos. if you dont like the video keep your criticism to yourself. this isnt being judged for a competition.

  • I believe that the choir is good and that the space is giving you the sound that you are looking for. This is a good sound however I can tell that there are individual consistantcies which make the choir sounds more artificial becuase the choir is only relying on the room to give balance and stamina. continue to work with the choir. Good sound though

  • Good performance! This choir group would be very good if it improved on the dynamics of the piece. It seemed that the entire way through the piece it stayed at the same level (forte). It never changed to make the piece have more of an effect! A piece like this really needs that, but overall good performance!

  • overall pretty good i do agree i couldnt hear the basses in the beginning but they came out towards the butterfly part and for the rest of the song. oh and in the begging go straight to the oh i heard some woahs in there. and what was that soprano note at 1:18 sounded like she got punched in the stomach or scared focus that vowel so the sound wont get distorted

  • I'm doing this right now in my choir. It's amazing yet difficult. At the beginning I couldn't hear the moving bass 1 line. But over all it's truely amazing

  • totally awesome.

  • It's a little too fast in the beginning, there were some beautiful chords that were missed but overall very impressive :)

  • good job. my high school choir is actually doing this right now. we do it a little differently, a little quieter on most parts. sopranos are a bit overpowering, but this is still a good job.

  • Amazing!!!!!!!

  • I thought the conductor was about to break his arm.......see those wings fly! tee hee!

  • I performed this song in high school and it's absolutely gorgeous..... I am so intrigued... :)

  • guys started out a bit sharp but hey sharps better than flat shows u have energy excellent diction and vowels the tempo could have been just a bit quicker cause it brings the intensity of the piece little bright but hell its a hard piece kodos :)

  • We are NOT the "Miami University of Ohio"!! We are THE Miami University! Okay, rant over. :P

  • I completely agree with CaitlynCoke,, it feels like everyone is trying to sing as a solo-ist rather than a choir, a singular body of harmony and beauty, the vowels are all over the place, balence and intonation always come before power and volume, but still very nice ^_^

  • wow...awesome but very fast...

  • HELL YEAH! That is how you do this song! PERFECT!

  • wow. i used to hate this song bc we did it for the new england music festival this year..

but now, i seriously love this song.

it was sooo much work, but well worth it!

    you guys sound great =]

  • really? I loved it when we did it for new englands. What part were you? I was a soprano 1. My favorite was this song but I really liked Kyrie. :D

  • vowels need to be more rounded...nice men sounds...ladies need to lay off the vibrato and they need to back off the sound as well...they over power the mens in some parts...especially at the end...the (ooo's) are not blended nicely like i've heard done before but you can work on that...

  • I think it was a little too fast for the intention of the song.

  • it would sound good but the mix of strong echoing and the overuse of vibrato just makes it sound loud and busy, not clear and haunting like whitacre intended.

  • this is not good.

  • paul. youre a bitch. love you.

  • it's nice. my personal favourite, but i think it can be clearer.. but it's location and hardware to blame. =) GREEEATTT!!!

  • I love this song thank you for doing it so beautifully

  • love this song, good work!

  • I recently performed this song in a choir. Kudos and performing so well. It takes a lot of stamina, but it is an absolutely wonderful piece. Check out Leonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine.

  • god...i love chorale!
