i'm gonna get me a peavey..i forget which peavey but it's all digital has like these 9 stomp boxes...it has perfect clean tone which i'm looking for but it's distortion is not so my "idea" of what a C tuned guitar with never slinkies should sound like....
I remember doing this when playing around with my Vox pedal back in 1975. It kept me amused! I was intrigued how it worked...
Another interesting (and useful) effect I found was placing a volume pedal after the wah...playing the volume pedal literally reverses the wah effect. A very different sound! I used a Crybaby for that.
@LinkBulletBill try placing the volume pedal ( I use an unbranded, non-powered "swell" pedal) either before the wah or after...memory's not so good! I found this effect by accident...when you depress the volume pedal it changes the direction of the effect, more like an "oww oww" rather than "wah wah." I used the effect during my final gig with a band called Erick in 1993 on a song called "All The Weird Men. " I also used the Crybaby to achieve some quite unusual feedback sounds.
yes it does work with a dunlop pedal, and though the strat is neat because of the 5 way switch, by cycling through the switch positions it will change the tempo and tone, rolling the tone knob slightly can change pitch, its possible to get the same sounds from a les paul, and no it won't blow you're amp
your amp can not explode... depending on your amp, but this can not explode on any amp. this trick, feedback and etc cannot break your amp. Why do ppl suppose that? it doesn't make sense?
Yeah, but considering 97% of the population of youtube can't tell the difference between playing with soul and emotion and a plain copy of any solo, you've gotta stop and enjoy it when someone's even able to give you an idea of how something is done ;p
is it the vox847a? because on an website is said you need a wah without true bypass and the description of musicstore sais that the vox 847a is with true bypass. So do you use one with or without true bypass, because yours is working pretty good.
I just plugged my Vox V847 wah in reverse - from the guitar to the output jack and from the input jack to the amp. then activated the wah and experimented.
Dutch house with guitars.

so can this work on a crybaby? how do i do it??
mikolene97 2 years ago
@mikolene97 yeah it works, got a crybaby by myself.
1. plug your guitar into the output jack of your wah
2. plug your amp into the input jac of your wah
3. activate the wah
4. control the tone/pitch with the wah, the tone know on your guitar and your pickup switch
enjoy :)

you plug the input cables to the output jack of the wah, and the output cable to the input jack of the wah.

is it the vox847a? because on an website is said you need a wah without true bypass and the description of musicstore sais that the vox 847a is with true bypass. So do you use one with or without true bypass, because yours is working pretty good.

GuitarBoy888 3 years ago
and if u have a line 6 pod xt live , can u do the same thing?
diegoss 3 years ago
I don;t think so, unless you have a patch or an option to sinulate a reverse plugged wah sound.
You see, this sound is created with an analog wah, usually specific models like my VOX V847 or old CryBaby's.
