I have a question. I'm an 18 year old girl, and was wondering if I'm supposed to have a physical anytime soon. Also, what will they do to me? I'm kinda scared.
@MissieElliot09 Married?? What on earth? Honey, you won't need a pap smear or whatever until you're in your 20's. You definitey need a physical before you're married, especialyl if you want to have kids.
You don't need a gynecological exam until you start having sex of any type or your 22nd birthday. This means oral, anal, and of course vaginal sex. If you have had no sexual contact then you don't need to be concerned until you turn 22. I recommend you wait for sexual contact until marriage. Don't make my mistake, as now I'm remaining celibate until marriage after having sex for a few months 4 years ago. Staying a virgin is easier and a better idea than trying to go backwards.
