To recreate the big bang you have to find the smallest particles and collide them, which is impossible since the universe is infinite, you cut an atom in half you get 2 smaller atoms, cut them again you get even smaller 4 atoms. What a huge waste of money....

even if shit would happen most of the things that would have already happened, the only thing left that can happen at any time would be the black holes. but that can form over several years for that atom to make a black hole. somehow it needs to collide with another particle and then the black hole starts. i watched a movie i didnt pull this from the deepest part of my asshole.

Not too mention this all theory, nobody knows exactly what will happen, to many pros for the cons and the word "some secrets of the universe" some -which could be as low as five- is really not worth the planet and I don't care if it takes a million years to grow to swallow us hole where we'll be torn apart by the immense gravity inside the singularity. Lol. Really funny. It's absurd, really, all these 'theories' that the LHC will create mini-black holes which will devour the Earth. Everyone knows the size of the Black hole that 'could' be generated by the LHC will be too small to do any damage at all to the planet, and will take millions of years to grow into any threatening size, given that it doesn't evaporate in the first five minutes of its creation.

Not quite. Matter doesn't simply disappear when it crosses over an event horizon, it is converted into energy (as a black hole is not comprised of matter) and thus adds to its mass. As the mass grows, so too does the event horizon - and it is this event horizon that is used to measure the 'size' of a black hole.
The 'singularity' at the center (which I assume you were meaning) is a point of infinite density, yes. But the LHC could, in no way, shape or form, produce this.

that´s not true, a normal black hole has a hole of something like 30 km of diameter and well that's not a needle hole, the micro black holes created by the LHC (if created)will be like 0.1 mm and will evaporize in microseconds and to finish, you know there was another experiment very similar to this and we are alive today RHIC

This wasn't at full speed, and they haven´t collided anything yet. And it wasn't a full success because the opposite beam of protons didn't reach the right velocity.

hey has anyone thought that maybe this is why the world is predicted to end on 2012 that would give enough time for the tiny black holes to expand and eat up the world! I just saw on the news that they went ahead with the test and The machine worked so far but it will be months before we know if we created a black hole....even one this big (.) or smaller "microscopic" over time could eat up the world!
