  • watch a 30sec ad .. i don't think so ...

  • do you really expect me to watch a 3 min video on YouTube after a 30sec damn long commercial ??? WTF ???

  • I have a Saint Bernard that was a rescue and I love him!!! He is the best dog I ever had!!

  • My st.Bernard is over weight and she only eats 1 cup a day

  • "And help people who were buried in an avalanche...unless you were Jewish of course."

    : )

  • Holy shit it's Cujo.

  • haha, 1:04 nom!

  • Dogs really are amazing pets, although these dogs are huge and take up a lot of space, they really do take care of their owners.

  • can they still be happy in a small house ?

  • @donnaf630 as long as you walk them properly and stimulate them.

  • iv allways wanted one

  • Are Saint Bernards very expensive to feed?

  • @smokeyseptember when their pups yea mine nearly ate its weight but when they're older and slow down they only eat about 2-3 cups of food a day. hope thats enough for ya

  • grew up with a 200 lb female Saint (she was at about 33") they are the BEST KID DOG EVER

  • grew up with a 200 lb female Saint (she was as about 33") they are they BEST KID DOG EVER

  • If i wanted any big dog Saints and Great danes would be my choice.

  • pause at 0:03 !!!!

  • is the monastery named after the dog? or is it other way around???

  • Also, because of the Saints size, they are not full grown until they are 2 years old. Then their life span is short. They usually only have a life expectancy of 7-8 years on average,if well cared for can live to be 9 or 10,and if you are very lucky, they can live to be 11 or 12,but that's rare. They make great pets,no doubt...I adore mine. But they shouldn't taken in lightly, they aren't for everyone.

  • Saints really are the best. I have owned, and currently own Saint Bernard's. They are the most beautiful animals, and make the most amazing pets. But,they are not for everyone. They are for experienced owners who are able to train them while they are still young, otherwise, because of their massive size (my current Saint is only 8 months old, over 150 lbs,and will over 210 lbs when full grown),they can bowl people over, scare people,be too rough if not trained early on. They are so lovable and great.

  • awww! i went to my animal shelter and couldent find any dogs like these! i love the big, non barking type. :)

  • @lebronjamesXD

They do bark. I have owned, and currently own a purebred Saint. True, they do not bark nearly as much as some dogs, especially small dogs, but they do bark. They bark at strangers on their property, they bark when playing sometimes. And there barks, are deep.

  • omg i used to have one :) <3

  • 11 people got lost

  • I'm getting one tomorrow. I've always wanted one, they're such beautiful dogs :)

  • just don't name it Cujo..

  • My favorite breed :)

  • snitchel dog

    hitlers stepp hore

  • When it wil be Dogue The bordoe??

  • great dogs

  • big dogs are perfect when there is a robber around

  • I have four of these wonderful dogs :-) best dogs ever. Also did a historical paper on them for college...Their history is so interesting......I want to work in disaster reliefe with these wonderful dogs...

  • My st bernard looooooooooves to play in the snow

  • I have a St Bernard/ Australian Shepherd mix she's 2 awesome dogs in 1! She used to love the snow when we lived up north. She was so cute playing in it <3

  • i love the st bernard. my st bernards name would be cujo. no kidding there

  • On land, St. Bernard. In water, New Foundland. All others are companion animals. These two are saviors.

  • @bluegama500: would you rather watch a few 30 ad vids every now and then (which is no different from TV commercials), or pay for your youtube membership? It's called sponsoring, and it's one of the main reasons how youtube can afford to stay free. duh.

  • Ever since I was itty bitty and first saw the Beethoven movies, I've absolutely ADORED St. Bernards! They're my favorite breed, and I hope to get one within the next few years after I move to Montana with my husband! They're so sweet, and like a big fluffy lap dog! But for now, I've got to make due with my adorable small fluffy lap dog in the form of my 7 month old toy aussie, Zoey. (love her so much!)

  • Wow, now I have a great idea on what dog to choose for my children. St. Bernard dog is always been a great and lovable dog.. I wish to have one..

  • ima get one when im older

  • I had lawncare client a year ago who had a St. The best dog I've ever run into. They always drove him around in the back of their truck so I'd see him looking at mine like he going for a ride. One day I had the doors of my truck open while I was loading up to leave and my client came out to talk for a bit. When I went to leave i shut the other door without looking and when I got in and started the truck I heard panting. I look over and he's sitting half on the floor and half on the seat.

  • I would love to see a breed between saint bernard and irish wolfhound. Guess that would be the ultimate gentle giant :)

  • Beethoven! :D

  • HOW PRECIOUS!!!

  • my family really loves st benrnards, specially because they are so faithful, we had 4 and they were such amazing dogs

  • I have a saint bernard but he's nothing like what they say. He's actually an excellent guard dog and he is a fighter, he can take down any dog except the Albanian Sharr dog. But he is very friendly with family but when it comes to strangers don't get in his way. He's also very powerful. They're a great workout.

  • Do their feet get cold at all?

  • damn if you all guys just know what happend today 2 hours ago , well let me tell ya. MY uncle was on his way to the veterian with my saint bernard called BENITO (spanish name) hes about 8 or 9 years old AND HUGE, and my german shepherd puppy, they were behind the truck, and some idiot on the walking way with his pittbull, hes was trying to attract my saint to fight , and my saint jump off the truck and cuts half face of the other dogs face then my uncle grabbed him back to the truck

  • @lilvicentegro and jump off out of the truck again and killed the pittbull by stabbing his teeth threw his neck and my german shepherd puppy was crying. Its very sad cause its all the guys fault , no one could it do nothing cause they were scared , even my uncle was scared of him. saint bernards are no dogs that fight like those. saint bernards are monsters/beasts. but i still like mine

  • I have the most beautiful St. Bernard! I looove her! shes 1 and already huge, she is the most cuddly thing and shes half masked! VERY RARE! ^_^

  • i love big dogs. small dogs are cute. but i'm not with society prasing them SO much. i just prefer big floopy, drooly dogs

  • @blackchickiedee7 same here i have a St. Bernard and a Mastiff it can't get any floppyer or droolyer

  • @TimeCruiser dose ur mastiff not fight with ur sain bernard one of dem has to b d boss and id say dats d mastiff

  • @johnmax58 actually no cause Khan, the mastiff, is alot younger so Ajax, the st bernard, is more like a father figure to him

  • @TimeCruiser alri yea dat makes sense if dey were d same age id say the mastiff would b top dog

  • @johnmax58 yeah probably, mostly due to the calm nature of the st bernards

  • @TimeCruiser what weight is ur st bernard i have an american akita and its 112 pounds 8 stone and hes only 9 months old

  • @blackchickiedee7 small dogs are a pain in the dick

  • @blackchickiedee7 get a newfoundland

  • @blackchickiedee7 Agreed my rule is: if you can kick a dog further than a metre then its not a dog

  • @haggiss You know, when a human has shallow thinking, he thinks just like you do ;) "If it's small - it's is less intelligent, less love, less play, less affection." Funny... Oh and by the way, you are not a real dog lover if you have anything against any other dog breed, that includes size if you're to stupid to understand that. I love all dog breeds, no matter of size or breed. That is very shallow thinking, I feel sorry for you.

  • @RaspberrySeason your a faggot if you like small rat dogs

  • @haggiss looks like you don't have anything smart to write back ;) why not just not write anything at all then instead of making yourself look like a complete idiot xD u probably had a really hard childhood, so I guess I have to understand you ;))) peace

  • @RaspberrySeason looks like we have a psych major here, why dont you go back to being a faggot instead of a mind reader?

  • @haggiss is "faggot" the only word you have in your comeback vocabulary? ;)

  • @RaspberrySeason faggot is the best word to describe a faggot like you

  • @RaspberrySeason hah u owned his ass

  • @mousy128 haha

  • @blackchickiedee7 i like english bullogs because of there chops anf size

  • @blackchickiedee7 same here

  • @blackchickiedee7 yeah me too

  • i love big dogs

  • i have a St.Bernard ^_^

  • @Kyndowg same

  • Hey. I made a community site for Saint owners, fans and breeders. Stop by! No ad's, no spam, just these dogs and people who enjoy them! Check channel for info

  • beethoven is a dog on a series

  • 0:45 Looks like mine :)

  • Beethoven! lol

  • I met a 2 year old Saint Bernard that was well over 200 pounds...she was SO sweet and her coat was gorgeous

  • Wow when i was looking at the puppies and the narrator said 10 weeks my jaw dropped and i looked at my 6 year old Japanese Spitz and laughed lol.

  • i love them t2 but wen they done with eating O.o o.O

  • I love this breed of dog, truly one of a kind. and its such a shame they can develop so many problems

  • Hay I would give it a 3 for protection there not shy dogs and they do like to bark at strangers while there not as agressive as Mastiffs they are quite inqusitive about strangers and there there shear size will keep trouble makers away and they will protect there owners if they have too.Dont get me wrong you dont have to worie about them attacking someone but to bones is to low for protection.

  • I love love love love love them! I've never had one, but I've had friends with one. They are so beautiful and so sweet.

  • u get 0 treats for being fucking annoying these dogs r amazing i have 2 they are big fluffy and gentle if u dont have one i would get one ur missing out

  • EverysinceIseenthemovieBeethovenIwantedthisdog

  • @Moshid88

Same here, watching the movie as a kid made me want a St. Bernard too

  • BEAUTIFUL DOG! but... BIG DOG = BIG POOP!

  • @jakemikoola my mum owns a yorkie, and it shits like a dane.

  • I find it confusing that they only give 2 treats for protection because the St. Bernard is inherently avery protective dog, though they are right, that a dog of that size should not be trained to attack people. A S. Bernard will protect it's owner instinctively.

  • Its the dog from Peter Pan (:

  • i have 1 st bernard full bred nd 2 golden retivers full breed nd 1 labrador x chow chow nd 1 golden labrador nd a curly labrador .. nd theye are all nuterd excpt labrador x chow chow

  • my neighbors have a st bernard such good dogs!!!! so gentle!

  • Nice dogs if you don't mind dog spit eveywhere-they slobber like a fountain.

  • My Saint is named Lola and we adore her. She was rescued from some asshole who was starving her and was 47lbs.!!! She's now a healthy 108 lbs. and is so beautiful and super sweet - we couldn't love her more!

  • lol 2:10

  • I have 2. Maude and Reuben. :)

  • AWWW

  • Comment removed

  • they are wrong about the barrel on the neck of the bernard not helpful to anything... saint bernards used to have the barrel on theyre neck filled with alcohol incase of a person falling through ice they alcohol acts as a body heater. and also saint bernards have sences to tell if ice will break or not

  • @Goldtacto They didn't have alochol in the barrels. Alchohol can be very dangerous to someone in extreamly cold conditions, I think I heard it was filled with milk? But idk that's what I heard.

  • hi ummm when do st. bernard puppies usually stop nursing from there mother

  • i ride this dog, very strong

  • I LOVE SAINT BERNARD !!

    they are incredibly cute....

  • my St. Bernard named, Gunner has gotten hit by a trailer and survived he fractured his pelvis and he was only about 11 months and he spent his one year old birthday on bedrest!

  • Oh my! I always would have loved to have a St. Bernard for a companion. Unfortunately I don't think he would be happy living in southern Arizona!

  • Awwwwwww!!!

  • They're so cute they're like big teddy bears.

  • the puppys are as big as medium sized dogs

  • lol, one time my saint unburied my cousin buried in our snow, and found her all by herself. and autumn2354, i bet their prettier than you cuz saints are beautiful.

  • @kuromitsukai666 no there are better dogs then them

  • there ugly

  • my saint bernard died , she came with me camping, and one night a bear awated us on the campsight, we were scared and ran in the car, she went to the bear, of cource, the bear was protecting her cubs and getting food, she attacked my bernard. We were to scared to realise, the next day, we found hr dead, and a pond of blood, she was my savior, my life, and she passed away, so i got a dane :) and he saved my life twice

  • @KisaKittyLove - so your pussy-ass let your dog die? let's hope you have a little more love more for your great dane.

  • @GodHatesQuags My dog went for it, it was in the middle of the night.. i only found out the morning.. and he has cancer when we adopted him.. that might haver made his strength smaller... i miss him dearly.. the danes are great.... better then ever :D

  • why i can't see It???? hate

  • I used to have a neighbourgh with one.

Very nice dogs really like em

  • One of My Dachshund's doggy friends is a 19 month old Saint and he does really good with him,but he(the saint)has needed ALOT of work to be the well behaved guy that he is.He is a HUGE Teddy bear can't get enough hugs but also will protect his home and won't let someone in that isn't invited by his master

  • fucking hell i have had enough of this advertisement SHIT on youtube.Especially those shit shaving ads.If i wanted a shaver,i would go out and buy one!!!!!!!

  • @bluegama500 Yea, well. They keep YouTube free, so unless you wanna pay $10.00 a month for a YouTube subscription, just shut the fuck up and deal with it.

  • @bluegama500 It's 10 seconds before a video. Stop whining about it.

  • @zeph53 he can whine about wat he wants shut ur fucken mouth

  • @bluegama500 you don't shave...?

  • fucking hell i have had enough of this advertisement SHIT on youtube.Especially those shit shaving ads.If i wanted a shaver,i would go OUt and buy one!!!!!!!

  • When I'm out of university and have the money I'm going to get one for sure!! They look so snuggly, I love them. I hear I'll get lots of exercise with one too, because they like longer walks than other dogs. Is that right?

  • the pups were cute

  • i want a saint bernard soooo badly! this was really helpful tho :)

  • I have a Saint. Bernard and she never bit, and

she sleeps all day almost :p

  • they are big fat angels =D

  • My grandma's neibougher had one. her name was bella. She was such a big baby. She use to play with my dog(who was a shep/husky)

  • wow st. bernards r like the colossus' of the dog world

lol you hav to respect any living creature whose purpose is to help and save people

  • I like these and Great Danes... I always wanted one, I can handle the spit, I think, but my mom won't D: Either way, gentle giants are my thing, and we have bad snow once a yr, or maybe a Chessy because we live in MD :o!

  • they are big and cute somehow and you will love him or she in a minute you see

  • My friend has a St. Bernard. Her name is Roxy. She is HUGE!!! she once got hit by a car and rolled twice got back up and ran home! i find that amazing! St. Bernards are truely beautiful and special. I love them!

  • Yer they are such big softies but with a very sturdy body.

  • @Bella24745

is Roxy still alive? if so,how old is she?

  • Yes, she is 2 year old now.

  • @Bella24745 My girlfriend St. Bernard got hit by a sportscar (an MG). The dog was fine, the car had a dented fender.

  • @Bella24745 lol when i saw one when I was a little kid and thought it was a nother breed of pony

  • @Bella24745 dang! that is amazing

  • @Bella24745 I bet the car died.

  • @Bella24745 ...lol dats funny..

But she's must have got hurt the poor dog:(

  • As a kid, we used to have a St. Bernard - with the very unique name of Bernie :-). He was with us for 17(!) years and I will never forget how gentle and playful he was even in his last years... I loved him so much that I never got another dog after he died.

  • I understand you and I had a difficult time aswell when my dog died and we bought a new one. It felt like betrayal, but its not true. I'm sure Bernie would love to see you happy and get another dog, because st bernards are the best pets you can have. If you love st bernards then get a new one, remember if you buy a new one you might save a sint bernards cos not all owners are loving with dogs. So go get a new one and rescue a dog from a possible bad owner.

    btw, 17 years is nice!!

  • thats what happened to me. we found mine, Sampson with some people who got angry all the time and might have hit him. when i broke my leg on oct. 7, he was always there 4 me. hes 2.

  • idd thats what they do, they actually care for you.

  • 17? That sounds insane.. If it is true I have something to dream of, for my little 3 year old saint guy.

  • @winyetta

Thats a good age for a purebreed.

  • @winyetta wow 17 years old! thats a long way

  • @winyetta

17 Years ????? WTF The Life Span is 11 ( For a Saint ) My St. Bernard is 6 And she Already has allot of white in her face

  • @HeidiSurette24 . their lifespan is not written in stone and law of nature, some are taken care of better or have the chance of great genetics.

I grew up w/ 2 dogs 1. a super mut mixed with about 8 breeds or more lived for 24 Human years and 2. the dog I adopted (Chow Chow mixed with Wolf) lived for 22 HUMAN years also. Both dogs were from a family member.

They have amazingly long life cycles if taken care of properly (they were free rage dogs, no fences or dog leashes)

  • @DoomTra1n

I wasn't Saying anything to be mean it's just it's a long time for a big dog give me a Break and I have grown up with dogs to NEVER Lived any where with out a dog Well Right now i have 3 dogs a St. Bernard and a Shih-tzu and a Golden Retriever Nova Scotia Little River duck dog Mix :)

  • @winyetta 17 years Dog St. Bernard

  • i had a dog named jake and he was part german shepherd part saint bernard.

he died of old age 3 years ago now though :(

he LOVED being oputside, LOVED the snow !!!

he would dig himself a big hole in the ground, build up the snow on the one side, and lie in there to hide from the wind.

    gorgeous dog, big gentle dog.

  • beethoven :)

  • I took care of a St. at Common Sense For Animals,Stewartsville,Nj.He was about 200lbs.&waist high.I used to put him on my 25ft.leash&take him for walks. He got so excited I was struggling to get the clip on his collar so he 'd be safe&not get out of on the nearby highway,I was next to the Stone Barn&he was wagging his butt so much he hit me w/it[Im 61"200lbs.]&sent me in the air sideways&I hit the BARN!!Damn that hurt!!

after 5 wks of playing w/him&getting home to my Akita,,Guinness.

  • we want our puppies back

  • These would make a great friend to have around. They are very loyal and kind. They shed a decent amount of hair, not sure if on the cold weather, but in Florida weather, yes.

  • I have a st bernard :) he is the best nearly 2 years old now. he is a very good guard dog alert to strangers, barking at them. He has always been this way since he was 3 months old when i got him I never had to train him to be that way its in him.I guess they either have it or they dont ! Maybe the males are the only super protective ones lol

  • They are indeed the most lovely giant yet. I have 2 Saints and a black Lab. They are so hyper. Of course, they are still young. Only 9 months old. I have a video showing them. Check it out on my channel :)

  • I want a Saint Bernard sooo badly!

  • Why would it not be a good idea to train a St. Bernard as a guard dog, but it is a good idea for a Mastiff? What does the Saint Bernard not have in this respect, that a Mastiff does?

  • Well, St bernards are normaly very gentle dogs, kind and caring, But they are Protective, and when feel threatend can fight well. I have not had a Mastiffand dont know the different between the two, but St's arnt Naturaly gaurd dogs, i suppose its not thier nature to, there more family dogs.

  • marilon manson is a fag

  • education is your friend
