  • I made one of these and it turned out really good the first time! I love it so much! Thanks for posting the vids for us!!!!!!!!! :)

  • @akphorseluvr You're welcome. I'm glad it came out well!

  • wats your real name

  • @miley34547390 Click the tree icon on my channel banner (main page) and you'll find out. =P

  • iiLovee You Videoss! You Inspiree Me So Muchhh.!(:

  • you should be my arts nd crafts teacher

  • Wow you can do anything O.O That's amazing :)

  • i couldn't tell the difference between to plastic one and the boondoggle . :o

  • Omg Thanks Soo Much 4 This !

  • that is so easy i can do that more of 5 years and i am 14 :p

  • Just finished mine!! I love it!

  • when you say lanyard do you mean gimp

  • @Guurrl64 There's a few names for the same thing, in the end yes lanyard is gimp. It can also be craft lace, boondoggle, rexlace, etc.

  • what camera do you use

  • @randomdude175 Sony Handycam HDR-XR160

  • omg I was so excited when I watched this video because I didn't have anything to make with clear rexlace now I do thank you so much!! This is so cute by the way great idea!! and I love all your videos! :)

  • Wow I thought this really was made w/ crystals! Thanks for sharing this and all of your other great ideas w/ us!

  • @chickbea Yeah, they're just a great pretender but in the end it still looks sort of realistic- as realistic as plastic and string could look anyway. ^_^

    Also, you're very welcome.

  • i really love your videos! i usually just do the friendship bracelet bracelets but i am SOO doing these too. never knew you made such cool shit!! :D

  • "here comes the black foot!!" lol! awesome! you referenced Mr. Deeds!!

  • @MAMA2TRES Haha. Yeah. =3

  • for the wire at the end i was wondering if for the clasp u can use a paper clip instead of the wire

    will tht work?

  • @juicystar106 Maybe if you bend the paper clip into a small L at the end so it would stay in the string... the headpin works because of the flat base at the bottom which holds it inside the middle of each knot. Without the base it's likely to slide right out even with superglue.

  • so I'm in the process of making one of these right now, and instead of coloring white thread and using that, I'm just using purple thread. but for some reason it's not really showing through as well as your bracelet. do you know why it isn't? D:

  • @xXLiveLaughLove479 I can't say really. I used white string and regular "Sharpie" brand marker... I think maybe since it's just one color it just appears to show less. The color switch is what gives the 'pop' I think.

  • @BeyondBracelets ok, thanks! I was kinda thinking the same thing, but I wasn't sure. I think on the next one I make I'm going to try the white string and Sharpie method.

  • BeyondBracelets: Just pure genius! Truly amazing. I have never made a friendship bracelet & most likely never will (too much work for me lol. I'm a paper beader) but this bracelet I want to make very much! When you post your tutorials, your directions are very clear & informative, with extra tips & tricks to boot! I've also read your views on copyright infringement and think (whether you want to be or not) that you are the artisans' activist! I am an artisan, and I'm glad people like you exist!!

  • @NuUTubeBabe BeyondBracelets for president, huh? Haha.

Anyway... Thanks so much. Some people seem to be angry at me for feeling (thinking?) as I do but I'm very glad to know that some people do understand where I am coming from.

Not so much looking for them to agree as much as I am asking them to put themselves in the place of someone that was having something they rightfully came up with taken by others and given no credit. Heck, it makes me mad even if it never happened to me.

  • Thank you for sharing your talent with us. I have made my daughter so many of your bracelets, & I continue to make them in so many colors, & she loves them. I adore you & look forward to seeing many more of your videos.

  • @AVL1025 I'm glad to hear your daughter is enjoying the bracelets. =3

  • is Rexlace Plastic Lacing 3/32" Wide 100 Yard Spool the right thing to use? I don't know how thick it is...

  • @Setria007 If it says clear it should be fine. I'm not 100% sure on the size but it sounds about right.

  • @BeyondBracelets yeah, thats the thing I was worried about. 3/32" seems a little thick, doesn't it? Im not sure though, I don't measure in inches :(

  • @Setria007 I think it's right but if it is thick then it would still work. It might even look better, honestly.

  • @BeyondBracelets okay, I'll try it. thank you so much. You're amazing. you really are. I hope you're feeling better :)

  • @Setria007 You're welcome. I hope it comes out well.

Also...Thank you. I'm trying to get myself back in order. Hopefully it will be soon.

  • Wow! I love this bracelet! Its so beautiful. I am totally making one of those. I wish u could send me one of them. :D

  • I freaking love this!! So gunna make one tomorrow !

  • Would it matter if you do the box or barrel??

  • @LacrosseAngel7 Yes. I covered that in the video. The box doesn't reflect enough light/color.

  • All I could think about when I watched this vid was when I made these in school but with out the string in the middle omg brings bk loads of memories lol :)

  • I love this project. I may make some to give out as gifts. Can we use DMC floss? Thanks for sharing.

  • @Overactiveeyeball I'm pretty sure the DMC was what I had used for this. Any white string will work I think... the only requirement I'd say is it has to be cotton.

  • Thanks for answering my question love your vids

  • Oh hell I'd rather just buy one for you !! Lol , to bad I'm broke thoo . But Thanks (: ur such a doll for making these tutorials :D

  • @gilliantaylorr7854 lol... it's not that bad. I might sell some eventually but if I do I don't think I'll make many. The plastic string gives me blisters so it's not something I want to make many of. =x

  • looks good, I like it!

  • Do you have to use tacky glue

  • @peppytaz18 No, I just like that it holds the strings together so they don't fray. It dries nearly immediately so I prefer it.

  • Do you think that hot glue would work other that super glue???????

    :) :) :) thanks

  • @purplebacon317 It might if you use very little. I can't say for sure so definitely make a very small test one and see if it comes out okay before dedicating it to an entire bracelets worth of materials.

  • @beyondbracelets mine turned out great except the colours didnt really show as much as urs did. yours shows A LOT compared to the one i made.

  • @xRainYb0W It may be the colors/markers possibly. Or maybe the clear string was a little cloudy.

  • Dear BeyondBracelets,

I was depressed because I wasn't talented at anything. Now I make bracelets, and sew and do crafts, and I always get a wow. You inspired me to "get crafty", and I am a happier person now. Thank you so much :-)

  • @Pezzamus I'm happy that I was able to help you find your niche.

  • what kind of cover material is? i think is nylon or a kind of little hose... can you help me? i really want to do one of that bracelet! thank u <3

  • @jailynpio I have the 'supplies' typed in the description. This goes for every video I own. I'll always add what you need in the downbar below the video.

  • Oh my gosh I've made these before anyone remember "scoobies"

  • @imTHATchicXD Yeah, it's the same method. I just decided to kick it up a notch.

  • @imTHATchicXD omg i used to love scoobies

  • @MusicToMe1 Haha, 100x's? That's a lot. =P

    Thanks.

  • I am sooo going to try this once I get all the needed materials! :D

  • I'm going to try this... Now:)

  • really cute

  • do u sell these?

  • @jucykat642 I haven't made them enough to have any to sell... this was only my second try making these.

I might make a few to put up for sale but it gives me blisters to make so I have to be careful. Not sure if it's just me that gets that, but it's not cool.

My hands still burn from having to make two full bracelets prior to posting this tutorial, lol. Luckily the welts/blisters went down since I gave myself a break... but yeah. Maybe. I won't make any promises of selling them.

  • This is a neat idea! Thank you for sharing it!

  • This is so pretty!! I'm a little new to your channel but I really love your work......u are super talented :)

  • @MandahWilde Aw, thanks. Well, welcome to the channel. In addition to the craft ideas expect lots of 'crutch words' in my videos and some poor editing skills. lol.

  • This is awesome! Just wanted to give you Kudos for coming up with this... can't wait to try it myself.

    <3<3<3

  • instead of colouring your floss, can't you just use variegated floss?

  • @TheRjs54 I've never seen variegated floss that changes rapidly enough to work. It's too spaced out. One section would pretty much be the same color. since it changes so gradually.

You really need a couple colors in a row that change rapidly and still fit around your wrist. I guess you could also just use a single color but that wouldn't be as cute, IMO.

  • This is absolutely awesome! LOVE the bracelet! Thank you for the outstanding tutorial (as usual!) :o)

  • @mybraceletsify Can't expect everyone to be respectful of others work. They want to look like they came up with it on their own so they have the 'envy' behind it and their friends won't learn where it came from. It's unfortunate but some people are just like that.

  • hey, cool clasp! is there anything you can't do girl? :) wire rocks! ♥

  • WoW, i Love this video, and the colors are so sweeeet. ♥ haha...loved it when you speeded it up, too funny. ;) funny thing about gluing stuff we buy that breaks...the glue only holds forever if you change your mind and decide to try and un-due..the glue-glue! ;) i found that even epoxy does that, but not as much. your tuts remind me of my weaving. almost the same, only different...doh! but not at all as easy as stringing. i love weaving the teenie tinie beads, and i love your vidoes. GG! A+

  • thank you so much for your videos. i love them all..

  • Did you do the boiling water thing? And if so, did it work :D? this is WAYYYY better then what you would buy in the store! Thxxx -33

  • @LinababyLyrics I haven't tried it on this yet, no. I guess I could. I have a small sample/test one that I don't mind testing it on. Maybe I'll go do that now.

Also... yeah. It's nicer than the store bought one and it gives you the satisfaction of making it and being able to say,"I made this." when people ask where you bought it. I love the look some people give me when I say I've made something... it's a sign I'm doing a good job. lol.

  • Thank-you for taking the time to share your ideas with us!!!! ;D

  • @Ms101Everything You're welcome. I'm glad you guys are enjoying my insanity. =P

  • Ima do eet!

  • @kiraaxchaos Awesome.

I love this bracelet. I think it's one of my favorite creations. I'm glad you like it.. =3

  • the great thing is that these are waaaaay better quality than the bought ones and you can make them to you own specific colors too

  • This is awesome! I have learned so much from you! Please make more!!!

  • I just want to say that I love your videos. I think you do an awesome job showing how to make things. I've learned a lot from your videos and now I can make things that I didn't know how to make before. keep up the good work :D

  • This is an awesome idea!!:) love it

  • @afloatingmoose I'm glad. I was super excited to share it so I ended up staying up all night (morning, it was like 2am to about 7am) filming, editing and then uploading. I just couldn't resist... it was too cute IMO.

  • So cool, I'll try this, ur brilliant

  • @ravynj123414 Thank you. Good luck.

  • great idea im really good at this please go to my channel so you can see my craft lace colllection

  • Cute!

  • So you do the starter with the ring the glue the string in the middle and then just go normally.? Snap. Ima do this!

  • @XxXBieberSlayerXxX Yep. It's not hard if you already know what to do.

  • @BeyondBracelets I started a braclet but I accidently did the square braid instead of round and it was a little hard to see the color, but now I'm working on a necklace but this time with round braid. xP

  • Wow.......... u are like brilliant... i am soooo going to try this!

  • Cool!! And hey I see lashyon

  • nice

  • THIS IS So COOl!!!! I love this idea

  • What an AWESOME idea~! I always used that stuff (apparently Rexlace? I never even knew what it was called haha) to make keychains. They were.. lame. Very lame. But this is awesome.

  • how long do u cut the boondoggle

  • @The101Bracelets Check the description.

  • Scooby doos!

  • I love your tutorials there so so so cool!! This is so simple but if I hadn't found this video I would be totally confused!! I'm seriously going to make...how long does the lanyard stuff have to be??

  • @hafsa1471 I covered the lengths in the video description.

  • @BeyondBracelets

    ohhh ok....thnx

  • Oooh so cool! I'm going to try this!

  • Awesomely awesome!
