I think it's a very interesting film because it shows what can be called sleep due to the delivery of the actresses this movie came out bright and only wonderful. Never before had seen act so strong to Dakota Fanning, but I think his performance was wonderful. I must say that Kristen Stewart have seen many films and this is not alo exepcion wonderful actress she is. Thank you for giving hope to have ideals that dreams are fulfilled despite the time change.

Joan said she wanted Kristen to play an authentic version of herself.

Wait a sec.............i just noticed something.Kristen Stewart was awesome enough to get an AWESOME Joan Jett haricut for the movie,while Dakota Fanning has the AWESOME Cherrie Currie haircut IN the movie.And yet,outside the movie like in interviews and stuff she doesn't have the hair and Kristen does.I'm pretty sure that you need to cut your hair for the full Cherrie look.Now,i know that Dakota is NOT to young for that!!!!!!

I was a teen in the Seventies and while I had heard of the Runaways, I don't really recall their music as there was so much fantastic music back then and there was so much music to discover and enjoy. Nevertheless, I really enjoyed the movie and these two young ladies portrayed Joan and Cherie with the zest for adventure which was theirs. Fans of this movie would enjoy Meet the Fabulous Stains, an early '80s flick with Diane Lane as a Cherie-like character.

Bring back the age of no cell phones! What Kristen said is so true...hell every other person has a cell nowadays; locating someone really just isn't that hard anymore. Big Brother much? Anyhoo...The Runaways were awesome! Both the band and the movie...the girls were good choices for their parts. :-)
