Wow, this horse was crazy. He actually ran in the derby and finished in the back of the pack. Good thing they moved him to the turf. Also love that camera angle, they need that back.
WOW exciting race - but more 'wowing' at the great camera angle - with the cam following the horses down the straight - wish they would use this is aus, although they at least have the view from the car that goes round with them..
This video does not show it, but Steven's ride was one of the bravest ever. To get in the clear at the top of the stretch he had to clip heels with the horse in front AND behind him.
No, Dansili was going good, but he was never going faster than War Chant, besides a horse clipped heels on War Chant too before he could make his run.
another 10 yards he had him lol...gallop out was insane!! if he got to outside wins this race easily imo...great stallion too right on with that slim!
I agree, he really blazed in the stretch, and the horse on the rail too. I really enjoyed the tracking camera view, more races should show the stretch drive that way. It shows just how fast those boys are moving! And the sound of the hoofbeats, amazing! Take care.
I also like the tracking for that reason, but if I could find the other camera shot you get a better view of what this horse and jockey did coming from 13th to nose the wire in the stretch alone, what timing. I've seen a lot of closers but this one was jaw dropping! God Bless.
That's a good point. The tracking camera does take away from the scope of WC's run. The wide angle would be a lot better in showing it in that way. He ran like the dickens, didn't he? Hope everything is well with you. God bless you too.
War Chant son's & daughter's are freaks on the turf.

Ive never seen a horse finish as fast as Dansili in the last hundred yards.Look how far Dansili was in front just after the post.

Another 100 yards and Dansili had him! Dansili turned out to be quite a successful stud, though.

I'm a little biased because I own a part of a horse named Codeword, whose sire is Dansili.

Actually they all look like they are flying which also shows how fast War Chant had to travel to get the win. He sure was amazing that day huh.

Yeah, they sure had it in gear in the stretch.
War Chant really had to turn on the jets to take it.
Great to watch all of them battle it out. Wonderful sound too.
Thanks for watching. Take care.
