the game had so much potential but they really screwed up in some of the key areas the game is fun but think of what they could of done with it! Armour Customisation (Im a bad speller), Bigger battles, more in depth campaign, real battles like the real defence of Helms Deep i was sooooo dissapointed when i played that mission in the campaign. Oh ty for posting that lotr WiT announcement i am a really big fan of Lotr and i know that game will work

EA Games created the in-depth game Lord of the Rings Battle for Middle Earth 2 with a crazy amount of heroes and maps. Pandemic created the famous Star Wars Battlefront 2 with huge maps and lots of them, along with a bunch of heroes and an awesome troop count. When you put the two companies together, you'd think they could do better that the piece of shit that is Lord of the Rings Conquest. There's like 15 maps, each of them extremely small and a scarce amount of troop types and heroes.

I agree. Conquest was a huge disappointment. In my mind the only good Lord of The Rings games were Battle For Middle Earth 1 and 2. Even though they're Real Time Strategy games...they capture Middle Earth the best.

DL'ed it for 360, and played it online for a good hour or so. It's true, most people are ranger or rogues, and the controls kind of sucked bigtime. Alot of weird and stuttering animations, and it didn't really give me anything. Nothing..

It's kidn of sad since i'm such a lotr fan, but hey, they can't all be good.

I do like the game, but the Graphics take a critical hit because of the Online Play Minas Tirith Top, and Osgiliath look as though they haven't even been completed for god sake, I mean you look at somthing like Rivendell, it looks great, then you look at Osgiliath, the damn thing looks Pre-Rendered and unfinished, why was it so hard to finish them off? Did they just quit on making these two half way? I could go on, Archers Poison arrows Scouts cloak, Sauron can get swooped away by an Eagle.

I have got the game, but it is in no way better or even on the same level as Star Wars Battlefront. You die to fucking easy and I know that sounds weird, but at least on Battlefront the games Bacta tank containers would heal you a good deal. But the three main problems I have with the game,

1.Backstabbers: I bust my ass trying to get a hero on online play, and I get backstabbed 2 minutes later

2.Balance issues: Why is Gilmi stronger than the Balrog?

3.Class Overuse: Everyone is the Mage.
