Tony Robinson is a legend. He was one of my childhood heroes and such had a big prescence for me, with his shows like Blood and Honey, Maid Marian and Stay Tooned. I saw the precursor to the Cunning Night Out show a few years ago and got my book signed by him, Tony is really a nice bloke.

Tony is the best and sweetest man there is! He's so funny! I've been lucky enough to meet him twice this year and he remembered me from the first time round. I agree he should be knighted
To this day they still haven't sat down and discusses their potential 5th series... I'd really like to see the Bald Rick character come to life (their planned Baldrick character, a bald musician in the 60s (when hair really really mattered))...
I remember him as a presentor of a archeoligist program on Discovery Channel. I don't remember the name of this program :( I liked it! I have seen every episode of it.
Can someone please give me the name of this program?
Tony, I love your voice :) You're so shy, so modest lovely man :D I also enjoyed your Baldrick's performance :) - laughing soo much, when you was saying "cunning" :)
Good clip - although Tony must be losing his memory in his old age. Tony talks about getting his break when the script for Rowan's new comedy series landed on his mat. He immediately talks about his respect for Ben Elton. Ben didn't join the writing team until the second series.
Very funny - I loved Tony Robinson in Blackadder, this man is a genius. I went to one of his shows and had a great time, I think there may be a DVD of this coming out soon, can't wait.
Met him this week here in Brisbane, Australia. Charming man.

The show was great BTW, loved it.
I agree he deserves an honour.

Fantastic Show. Saw him in Finchley and haven't laughed so much for ages. He even talked about the possible next series of Blackadder. Can't wait.

I could have sworn....

But Robinson was balf right, the turnip gag was first introduced in series 2
savagedragon 3 years ago
True, but Baldrick didn't really have a personality until series 2. In series 1 he was just a line-spouting support for Rowan.
