well, wat if i had a free antivirus trial for 30 days, then the trial expired, then i removed the antivirus but i didnt restart my computer, then i went to the same antivirus site to reinstall the antivirus, i installed and restarted, but now the problem is it keeps on saying, system unsecured

Hey.

I dont now how this got on my computer. I was on my facebook at the time. but this Antivirus software came up on my window telling me that it detected a virus. i clicked to close it.

few seconds later it shows up agian and right then i knew i was hit with a virus. i tried to acces my malewarebtyes and my other virus protection prorgams. but it woldnt open. it says they are infcected. the virus woludnt let me open anything up. Please any suggestions

Umm, you could have stopped it if you unplugged your internet the time it asks you to go to their site. You should look on other videos for help.

Actually, I unplugged the internet after it scanned my computer, and nothing ever happened again. I also used malwarebytes and it didn't come up.

try opening up My computer..then changing the settings so you can view hidden files then search for Local...or Local Temp then go into that folder find the randomly named folder thats like usually 6-7 letters long and delete it....this worked for me and did' not have to download anything:).....and try restarting your comp in safe mode too

But after i deleted it everytime i go on to the internet and type in a url the page turns to this unknown page and it has 2 options.. to continue unprotected or get the security software.. When i enter the security software i know its probably a spoof and fake and on the top it says antivir. i wonder if u or any one else can help me with this.

Check proxy setting in Internet explorer. Go to Tools>Internet Options>Connections and click on the LAN Settings button at the bottom. Take the check out of Use a proxy server for your LAN if its checked.

i got it on my computer wouldn't let me access anything, i then later found out that my Norton had let it slip through (Norton probally created it, cause i wasn't updating it)

anyways, I couldn't use anything, everything was blocked, I then Found a way to get Malware Bytes, i scanned and deleted the virus, unfortunately it got attached to most o f my windows files and deleted them, so i would have had to re-install everything, so i just popped in a system recovery

when i got this virus first i did a full system scan with norton anti virus and predictably it didn't do anything except waste a few hours of my time then i did another scan with a program called malware bytes and one 20 minute scan, 8 malicious file, and one reboot later it was gone

I got a weird problem.

I know Antivirus is a scam and is fake, and I know how to get rid of it. But every time I try to scan the computer with AVG, AdAware, Malwarebytes, etc. it just closes the application and says that I "might not have the permission" to use the file. There's no way for me to scan my computer and delete Antivirus, so I dunno what else to try.

Any ideas?

The company's just attacking you with the virus to make you buy their Anti-Virus. I heard that Microsoft was going to sue them, but for some reason the virus is still spreading around. And I kind of thought that I had a weak infection since I simply just removed the executable file. And another reason the process you're looking for isn't there because it goes by hundreds of different name, if you go in the description, you'll find out more about it. Ok, first of all I'm going to say that even if you disconnected your internet, it will still be on your computer.

I'm not an expert virus remover, but I would recommend scanning your computer with your Anti-Virus program, I would recommend getting a Kaspersky trial and scan, but that's just me

There are videos on YouTube that are very helpful just search 'How To Remove a Virus From PC' or something like that. Also, check out the links I sent you.

I used to have a link to get the virus, but then they disabled the website now. You can get it randomly off the web passed on through websites. Try searching it an Google sometimes on websites that shows you how to remove it have the link to the original website telling you to avoid it. Sorry, I can't be much of a help, but good luck.

The scan of Anti-Virus 2009? I don't think you should let it scan, it'll just say your computer is infected with these random things that isn't on your computer. Just cancel it and follow the video's instructions to remove.

Yes, it does. Many. Most of them are banned though. I tried accessing some, but the pages were broken. I think there was one that was still working, because I remember entering it. But mostly it's passed through other random websites you visit and it just automatically downloads it onto your PC.

AV2009, just brings up annoying pop ups. I'm not sure if it infects your computer or anything, I'll try to look more into that. The messages are pretty annoying, so I'll delete it when I get the chance to if I were you. I've heard that it blocks some sites, so you can't access it, but I'm not sure of that.

Another way is to click CTRL + Shift + ESC, and if that doesn't work go to Start, Run, type in taskmgr, and click ok.
