its true, all u have to do is remove silencers and M5 will sound like vette, thats what I did, I didnt even had to remove cats just silensers and everyone tells me that my M5 sounds like vette.

It sound like a V8 without cats and resonators, but seriously, take a vette and this M5 side to side and listen carefully, Shorter stroke, 4valve cyl, thats all audible.
