Am I the only person who notices that this girl has amazing control??? You don't see her making all those funny faces and crouching over, struggling to reach a note. It's effortless. Granted I like the way Fantasia sang it better (more soul) but you can't deny this girl can sing. If she could just pick the right song for her, she'll blow us away.

Yea, I completely agree with you. She probably has the best vocals in this competition...she's not popular however. Her lack of personality will be the ultimate cause of her elimination. Unfortunately. I still think this was one of the best performances I've ever heard on this show.

It's not falsetto. It's the whistle register (Like mariah Carey). Syesha is AMAZING. SO FEW PEOPLE can sing in the whistle register. It's beyond me that the judges didn't say anything about that!!!

Im annoyed..this performance was in fact the best of the night. Like talk about crisp vocals...this girl did not go wrong anywhere...I hate how Randy with all the insight he has when it comes to music couldnt look past the fact that Fantasia sang this song in the FINALS!! There are other songs that other people redo and make it brand new. No one can redo "I believe" and make it amazing. Fantasia has done all there can be done with the song. That was my point.

Isn't this a show where contestants do cover songs. Songs that other people do. There job is not to try to make it better or change it. Their job is to sing it well or at least as good as they can. The judges should judge based on her performance, not if someone 5 years ago had a better connection. Come on. If that's the case they should compare everybody to everybody. Syesha was better. drowsychaperone ITA i just watched her performance last week and she was AMAZING as usual..and they couldnt help but compare her directly to Dolly and Whitney..yeah Syesha is no Whitney, but she is the STRONGEST female vocalist on the show and they dont give her that credit at all. How come when David Cook did Billie Jean they didnt say oh you failed in comparison to Michael Jackson and say it sucked...no they loved it! THese judges are just becoming dumb! Yes, I was jumping out of my seat for Archuleta. We will have to agree to disagree. When Fantasia sings "I believe," I can feel her emotion and soul. Syesha had no feeling, no nothing. What I like about Fantasia is that she is a performer. She might not be the greatest singer, but she makes me feel what she is singing.

I love Syesha, but she needs to wow me like she did with "Tobacco Road." If she doesn't come like that again, I am afraid she might be going home soon.
