i play the way tim reynolds plays it. he plays the song in standard tuning. watch a video with him and dave, you'll see it.

agreed, the standard way i think is a lot harder, but sounds better. haha im just too lazy to restring my guitar so i can tune it to raised B

yeah, i'm wrong.

however, pretty sure tim does stay in standard. and the sound I get from the way I play it is much more closer than those that capo it up on 7. too high imo.

yup. this is the exact way that Dave Matthews Plays it on the Dave and Tim tours.

nice cover, I'm pretty sure he plays it in raised B though...capo on 7 for a standard tuned guitar but he uses one that's re-strung in raised B and plays it in the same positions as you are...watch Radio City, he gets a different guitar for this, Sister and Oh...all raised B or variations thereof.
