How is that faster then a veyron? I accelerated quicker then a veyron, but I didn't see this go faster then a veyron. A veyron tops out around 450 kph while the fastest I saw this car go was just over 300. Quickest isn't the same as fastest, and faster isn't the same as quicker.

All you people out there saying that the Bugatti has shit handling and crap braking. The airbrake produces the same braking force as a fiesta and the handling is pretty sublime. The AWD system is what contributes to acceleration not the weight. The fact that the veyron is luxurious, comfortable and refined with the ability to do 268mph is astounding. I have no doubt that Bugatti could build a no compromise supercar with a 300mph top speed but that's not with bugattis roots.
@metallica58266 lol the veyron has 16 cylinders and 4 turbos and only produces 1000 hp its not that hard to put a huge engine a in a car give it all wheel drive and not get insane acceleration. a 458 v8 produces 570hp and the veyron technically has two plus 4 turbos i think that is shit engineering.
@B0ard3r21 This 9ff is faster in the long run. Not many cars can beat a Veyron SS from 0-60mph. From there on, the awd problem is evident (loss of overall torque). The 9ff is a rear drive car, so there isnt the awd 'drag' issue to deal with therefore making it faster from 60-200mph and onwards. IF there was a way to transfer from an awd launch to complete rwd acceleration characteristics, that would be a deadly combination. If this were done to a Veyron, it wouldnt be stable at speed.

(He has a S55 Supercharged (Makes i think 493hp factory but i put it on a dyno and it makes 455hp)) I already found a factory S65 engine for it, with just a remap it can make 755hp and over 850tq. If i upgrade the turbos and fit new cooling and exhaust system i can get around 900hp from it! (That's like 0-60mph in under 3.0)
Porsche does a nice job with new 911. Cayenne has a nice front but a ugly back (Toyota anyone?). Cayman is what? Panamera is a Cayenne after some serious time under a butter melter. Does not look good. 911 and Cayenne does the job.

This only goes 400... The original Veyron goes 410 and the new Veyron goes 430! This one takes about 4 - 4.5 seconds to reach from 0-100, and the Veyron takes 2.7 seconds.
Seriously ay if people want a quick 0 - whatever time then they need to keep traction, that's why I love cars with awd with wide tyres on each wheel with a drivetrain ratio of 65 at the front and 35 at the rear, cause if there is too much torque at the rear the front of the car will lift up so the front tyres will not be firmly on the ground resulting in less traction.

im sure that engine is not stock they probably added high compression pistions, its twin turbo, i bet they added a new cam and new injectors...the engine block is the same but thats about it! I promise this car would not break down in 10,000km
I do not i think 9ff test the motor over 100.000 km, and at -40 C° in the Arctik at +40C° in the desert. Porsche takes years of development to offer the customer the motors can be as hard a long time.
And remember, Porsche is only another car with VW and Audi Parts ;)
9ff's are very well known and respectable cars, if they broke down quickly they wouldn't be so well respected. I am sure the company does its own testing to make sure the car is sound. Also if Porsche only does 100,000Km of testing I would be very worried about the quality, 99.9% if cars make it to that distance and those that don't probs just have a part defect...testing to 300,000Km or 600,00km would be a statement...which im sure Porsche does.

@BigGee84 He's right though. The Veyron and the SS were engineered for top speed only. Granted, if it went on a diet and lost 1500lbs, it MIGHT make it around a corner in one piece. The speed is there and the suspension to support said speed, but the again, the entire car including the SS version were engineered for top speed ONLY.
@mitsahneobendrauf I agree that the SS is the undisputed fastest PRODUCTION car in the world, but you have to remember the one-offs like RUF, 9FF, Lotec, and Hennesseey. One fine example is the Lotec C1000. There's only 1 in the world with a recorded top speed of 268mph. A rich Arab contracted Mercedes who subcontracted Lotec to build the fastest individually owned car in the world. There are many cars out there that can out perform a Veyron, but the record is for a production car, not a one-off

@metallica58266 lol the veyron has 16 cylinders and 4 turbos and only produces 1000 hp its not that hard to put a huge engine a in a car give it all wheel drive and not get insane acceleration. a 458 v8 produces 570hp and the veyron technically has two plus 4 turbos i think that is shit engineering.

@B0ard3r21 This 9ff is faster in the long run. Not many cars can beat a Veyron SS from 0-60mph. From there on, the awd problem is evident (loss of overall torque). The 9ff is a rear drive car, so there isnt the awd 'drag' issue to deal with therefore making it faster from 60-200mph and onwards. IF there was a way to transfer from an awd launch to complete rwd acceleration characteristics, that would be a deadly combination. If this were done to a Veyron, it wouldnt be stable at speed.

BUT!!! this doesent mean that its faster around a track, a car that weighs over 2 tons sucks in braking, and taking corners while the 9ff is lighter and takes on corners alot better
overall the 9ff is alot better

I'm trying to get him to sell me his car for cheap and buy himself another S Class. (He has a S55 Supercharged (Makes i think 493hp factory but i put it on a dyno and it makes 455hp)) I already found a factory S65 engine for it, with just a remap it can make 755hp and over 850tq. If i upgrade the turbos and fit new cooling and exhaust system i can get around 900hp from it! (That's like 0-60mph in under 3.0)

Porsche does a nice job with new 911. Cayenne has a nice front but a ugly back (Toyota anyone?). Cayman is what? Panamera is a Cayenne after some serious time under a butter melter. Does not look good. 911 and Cayenne does the job.

@jajjian The Veyron wasn't designed to do extremly fast cornering (way to heavy), it was designed to be the ultimate speed machine, very very fast. comfortable and reliable as well. The Veyron still is the undefeated ultimate speed machine. Comparing an 9FF with a Veyron is just silly

This only goes 400... The original Veyron goes 410 and the new Veyron goes 430! This one takes about 4 - 4.5 seconds to reach from 0-100, and the Veyron takes 2.7 seconds.

Seriously ay if people want a quick 0 - whatever time then they need to keep traction, that's why I love cars with awd with wide tyres on each wheel with a drivetrain ratio of 65 at the front and 35 at the rear, cause if there is too much torque at the rear the front of the car will lift up so the front tyres will not be firmly on the ground resulting in less traction.

Veyron and this Porsche is slower in 0-60 , 0-170 , 0-190 than a top fuel dragster plus these 2 cars dont do over 300mph in just a quarter of a mile in under 5 seconds.

@guppyspop sorry to say sir but dragsters have 561 cid engine wirh nitro as fuel and 8000hp built strictly to go in a strait line with just enough fuel to get you to the end of the track so uhh i think even a little suzuki cappicino has a chance against a dragster on the track so im pre sure a veron or a porsche has a big advantage

So, if you think about it the title "Faster than Veyron (9FF Carrera GT 912HP) " is in NO WAY "Miss titled.." Because last time I checked, if a car measures speed in KPH, they still use HP as a measure of their power. Check out the top comment on the speed times and you will see it is faster also.

im sure that engine is not stock they probably added high compression pistions, its twin turbo, i bet they added a new cam and new injectors...the engine block is the same but thats about it! I promise this car would not break down in 10,000km

I do not i think 9ff test the motor over 100.000 km, and at -40 C° in the Arctik at +40C° in the desert. Porsche takes years of development to offer the customer the motors can be as hard a long time.
And remember, Porsche is only another car with VW and Audi Parts ;)

9ff's are very well known and respectable cars, if they broke down quickly they wouldn't be so well respected. I am sure the company does its own testing to make sure the car is sound. Also if Porsche only does 100,000Km of testing I would be very worried about the quality, 99.9% if cars make it to that distance and those that don't probs just have a part defect...testing to 300,000Km or 600,00km would be a statement...which im sure Porsche does.

firstly the 9ff isnt faster thab a veyron as it has a lower top speed,it may be faster accelerating but give me £100k and i could make a faster car.esentially the 9ff is a modified car and the veyron is a production car.the veyron will do everything whereas the 9ff is good in a straight line and thats it,one trick pony

@beastofackworth you know the veyron handles like a french car from the 60 don´t you ? its nürburgring lap time was 7:40 and got removed from the OFFICIAL nürburgring website after like 1 month because of bugatti´s complaints. 7:40 at the nürburgring - that´s a whooping 20 seconds slower than a 505hp, manual transmission, rear wheel driven Chevy Corvette C6 Z06. just embarassing for a 1001hp car with a semi automatic 7 speed transmission, all wheel drive, launch control, 1.600.000€ price tag etc

@BigGee84 He's right though. The Veyron and the SS were engineered for top speed only. Granted, if it went on a diet and lost 1500lbs, it MIGHT make it around a corner in one piece. The speed is there and the suspension to support said speed, but the again, the entire car including the SS version were engineered for top speed ONLY.

@mitsahneobendrauf I agree that the SS is the undisputed fastest PRODUCTION car in the world, but you have to remember the one-offs like RUF, 9FF, Lotec, and Hennesseey. One fine example is the Lotec C1000. There's only 1 in the world with a recorded top speed of 268mph. A rich Arab contracted Mercedes who subcontracted Lotec to build the fastest individually owned car in the world. There are many cars out there that can out perform a Veyron, but the record is for a production car, not a one-off
