This is great, i bought the worst tortillas ever the other day, thanks for the great recipe, I'm just not sure about the Bob's red mill I find it has a grassy aftertaste to it, have you tried it with other flours?
I made just the tortilla today for my son, who is 11 & just starting the gfcf diet. We both liked it!!! It's so simple that he mentioned that he would like to make it on his own. Thank you for sharing!!!!
I am so glad you and your son liked it! Thank you for letting me know. I have been working on a cracker recipe and I had it down, but we have moved and I can't find notebook with my notes. I will get it on as soon as I find it. It is similar to a ritz or clubhouse cracker.
This recipe is AWESOME! It has really opened up some more food choices for my son. We have used the tortilla itself for "snack wraps" and even as a hot dog bun! This is great! THANK YOU for sharing!
Oatmeal in its self does not have gluten, the problem with it is cross contamination. You can buy gluten free oatmeal though. Just google it. Bob's red mill brand sells it in quite a few grocery stores.
thanks for this recipe! It looks doable :) My 3 year old was just put on a gluten and dairy free diet and I have no idea what to feed him at this point. Hopefully we won't starve while I figure it all out lol. Do you know if oatmeal has gluten?? thanks again - christina
