I think that Terminator could have made a good series, as long as it kept a similar to- but darker and more realistic tone -of Roughnecks. NOT like Spiderman cartoons, where explosions are everywhere yet do nothing and bullets never hit anyone, and the characters suck, and so on. It needs to be realistic and character-driven with noble sacrifice and sad struggle as its main themes. Billions of people dead, a fight for humanity, living in hiding, killer machines, and so on. And no Schwarzenegger.
