@Jimmyretired countries that have huge military parades want attention. Notice, asian and middle eastern countries do it all the time but every war they fight the lose. With an exception of the USSR but it had help from the allies. But look where the USSR is today..lol none existent. Europe will rise again, Im glad to have America by our side. I only wish the best for the American economy. Hopefully WW3 starts, wars are known to revive economies unfortunately.

As many generals have said over the decades, the most humane way to prosecute a war is to fight as aggressively as possible. Shock and awe was not his case. Civilians were watching the bombing from their balconies. They were hardly shocked or awed. Vietnam proved that winning hearts and minds is not really possible across a huge gulf of different cultures. Our rules of engageent are so tight that they embolden our enemies who don't fear us. Much more aggressive bombing is needed.

Hermann Goering killed ten of thousands of British by doing an "aggressive bombing" campaign over Britain that ended with much of Germany suffering even greater death and destruction, and led to him commiting suicide while awaiting his obvious trail verdict in Nuremburg.
If you believed in the rule of law, and it's universal application, then you would be defending Goering.

On one of these nights i think there was 3 night of shock and awe cant remember they used F-117 Stealth.s(Ghosts) But on this night it was the Cruise missiles coming from American warships. If you disagree with us on invading that is fine I do not think we should have invaded either. However, once you do make the declaration to go to war you have to conduct the operation properly. Attacking the center of gravity with overwhelming force. We suffered 4500 dead soldiers. Which is unfortunate, but in the context of military action is EXTREMELY low.
