  • great music, great video, life is good!!

  • Nice video of backpackers.

    contact us: infotrave@wlink.com.np

  • your livin the dream bro

  • i think you need a certain mindset to be comfortable in the wilderness. some people get into camping but dont quite get it, and feel like they need more home like goodies. they are your target market i think.

  • bushcraft school, trekking school, ... what's up with all these outdoors schools nowadays? can't anybody think on their own anymore or what, just buy sum basic gear, put on boots and go

    adventure right there

and it doesnt cost a fortune!

    gosh

  • @nephildevil Well some places, like Yellowstone or Denali, the Rangers want to make sure that you know what you are doing, so by taking these courses it adds to your backcountry resume, so to speak. But it's also about meeting new people, and when you have a bunch of like minded people getting together, it helps.

  • Great job friends, take a look at backpacking Willy to show your students what not to do. Thanks for a great video.

    BigT

  • this 2011 i ready to go backpacking and im nervious

  • omg!! that looks like so much fun!

  • AND PLEASE PUT SPANISH SUBTITLES

  • WHATS THE MUSIC ????

  • @josephgmen the song is "Look for me in the Mountains" by Chris Cunningham.

  • Squirrel, I know what you mean, I used to think these lightweight guys were a bunch of yuppie fags, but not anymore. Sometimes they go too far in their quest for lightweight gear, but believe me, when you get to be my age (62), you will appreciate every oz saved.

  • i disagree with this

  • It looks and sounds like a beautiful experience. I wish you and your school all the best. Perhaps, someday, my family and I can travel to Yellowstone and learn about backpacking light.

  • if you know what your doing all you need to survive in he wilderness is a few tools e.g knive hatchet things of that nature (pun intended) food and water can almost always be fond and shelter can always be made

  • its this domino effect thing that we have been engrained in. now with geniuses like the CEO of backpacking light, we are shifting into a phase of more lightweight backpacking trends.

  • only good thing about this video is the image, very clear all videos should be like this.

  • @afterthefox7 ya the image is great, but the backpacking and what they are talking about is even better

  • @Thei9Ways Uhhhhhh NOT!!!

  • Awesome video...I love the song at the end, but can't find out what it is...I'd love to have that in my iPod on my next trek.

  • I wish I could afford to go lol.

  • whats the song at the end?

  • @tushtushtushtush it's the Backpacking light theme song, you can find it on their website.

  • Very true, one should never stop learning.

  • Great video. Well put together. One can never stop learning.

  • guys, i'm looking please for a poncho i can roll up and not be so big in the pocket or massively heavy and it should llok and behave like quality. money not an option but i don't want a silnylon mega mega lightweight blow away it this is for scotland and north wales (the rockes) kit so it must be tough but sturdy. money no object for good gear

    any recommendations

    great vid btw

  • I use a rip stop nylon poncho. It's about 90 inches by 60inches. They are light and tough. A good one in the U.S. costs about 40 dollars. Check and see what you military uses and that will probabley be good.

  • Makes me want to take a course! That country looks great.

  • beautiful video, keep up the great work
