Little thing of note, the MK46's fire rate in SINGLE PLAYER is about 600, but in multiplayer, it's actually 857, almost as fast as the MP7, but with WAY better damage/range. I personally love this gun, and view it like you do; a badass assault rifle with huge ammo.

My preference with it, though, is a grip and silencer because the damage signature means that even at long range, it'll be a 4 shot kill (as long as it's not through a wall or something).

I don't like how this guy tells people just to use different guns to get better. If you suck, you suck and gun choice is only going to help you in the slightest. Try working on your thought process during COD to make better decisions and so on. COD doesn't have some magic formula where by using a certain perk and gun will make you a legend. It takes practice, patience, intelligence, and perseverance.

I couldn't agree more. I remember using the m249 saw in cod 4 for the first time, and it was the best. The mk46 is just a version of the m249 saw, so when I heard it was coming back, I preordered mw3. I hated mw2 because the saw wasn't there. Love the versus and underused shows! You should try support juggernaut vs assault juggernaut!

The MK46's fire rate is only limited to 600 RPM in single player. In multiplayer, it does in fact fire at 859 RPM.

It can be good for short range but for lon range , too much recoil to hit the target . I can offer you to use ACR with Hybrid Scope + Kick for both range option .

Wrong title, the M60E4 is THE most underrated weapon, just add the sight of your choice (Red dot/Holographic etc.) and you will be unstoppable. Use sleight of hand,quickdraw and stalker with kick or anything else. the weapon is unlocked quite late at level 72

IMHO mk46 is FAST Fun and easy to use, awesome sound and fun spray.

m60 is tricky but powerful 2 bullet kills, and it looks badass, as its slower RPM it demands more accurate play but is also rewarding !

PS. my fav weapons in mw3 (so what you know my taste) AK47,AA12,KSG,MK46,M60,M14

I've played all the LMG's in MW3, and the MK46 is my favorite. It is, in my view, the most well-rounded LMG in this game. The M60 is really powerful, but is very slow and not as accurate. The other guns are not as powerful or reliable. MK46 FTW.

It doesn't quite match up to the AUG HBAR from MW2, which was my favorite LMG in that game, but it's pretty darn close.
