So liebe Leute, es tut mir leid das zu sagen, aber genau so reden die meisten Österreicher englisch. Es rollt zwar nicht jeder das R so und es hat irgendwie was leicht wienerisches, aber im Grunde ist das eine perfekte Darstellung wie in unserem Land englisch gesprochen wird...

the accent that you did cannot be considered for the whole austria. this is more the accent of the eastern part in austria, especially around the region of vienna. but for example where i live, in the west of austria, there is a complete different accent. a lot stronger accent actually and it sounds also way different again...

Wahrscheinlich verwendet der Ösi das Wort "Protestant" sowohl für den, der aufbegehrt als auch für den Christen, der nicht der römisch-katholischen Kirche angehört. Actually quite passable for a swiss accent. You roll the R's, whereas in Austria- you would pronounce V's and R's as a soft W in English. Also, it would need to sound more lazy.

so probably it's the typical vienna accent, there are more than just this one. at least i think about 8 different austrian accent. We are all learning german in school and ya we dont have a own language so we are speaking german as national and only language. Also the switzerland have german but the got 2 more national languages and speaking a mix of all.
