  • Excellent Video. The Naibours cool with it?

  • I use airsoft for dry fire practice at home and my 9mm at the range. Everything has its use.

  • Way cool! Do you have something on the ground to keep your magazine from getting damaged when it falls?

  • I am glad there is a lot of pro rather than con comments for what you did on the video. Moving and shooting is not easy. To train to shoot USPSA, you can burn 1000's of round and dollars, or get an airsoft. This works, just Youtube search "airsoft uspsa training", its all there. I have found that most negative comments come from people who have no videos of themselves shooting so we can hardy trust that they know what they are talking about.

  • This is a great way to practice. It's cheaper than shooting live ammo. You can do it almost anywhere, and it builds all of your shooting skills with the exception of recoil and noise.

  • The individuals who I find TRULY pathetic are those elitist armchair "operators" deriding airsoft enthusiasts for being "posers". Yes, because when the Neo-Soviet Union comes barreling over the hill, your ultra-tactical AR15 and pet 1911 will turn their fat, wrinkly asses into elite, alpha male, lords of rebellion. Even FROM a practical standpoint, I find that serious airsofters have better trigger control, sight picture discipline, and posture then many shooting videos I see on Youtube. STFU.

  • uto pla yan

  • Looks like good form.

  • Personally I hate airsoft guns, they teach kids how NOT to handle firearms. That being said I am impressed with your shooting and form, you would do great with a real pistol considering the likeness airsoft guns unfortunately have to their real counterparts. Good work.

  • thats something rare: someone who hates airsoft for a valid reason.

Most hardcore airsoft communities have pretty responsible players.

But I can understand when you're talking about hose kids that post on youtube...

  • Yea my issue is with the majority of kids who point them at each other and fail to learn the safe handling of a firearm. Also because these airsoft weapons are practically clones of the real thing, children lose their respect for firearms. These things don't even look like toys, they look and feel real. This of course is great if you are using them to train but otherwise this is unacceptable for a 10 year old to play with. I am VERY pro-gun but whatever happened to wooden guns and GI Joes?

  • yeah

well, when we skirmish, there are strict rules for no firing outside of game zones, mag out, safety on, barrel cover on.

and velocity and stuff is regulated too.

Yeah, airsoft, or anything else for that matter, is fun when in responsible hands, but like you said, it can teach the wrong things.

  • Thats the kids. Airsoft is really intended for adults doing simulations, stupid "sports" companies started making 30 dollar spring guns and all of a sudden kids are shooting each other in their backyards.

  • why do all people who use real firearms hate on airsoft guns/players when its the closest (safest) to real as your gonna get. It ain't the gun that teach you real form, its what you practice. I can have no weapon at all and learn good form. 2. We don't do airsoft to learn how to be real soldiers, or killings machines, we do it for fun!

  • i know alot of people that learned how to handle a firearm with an airsoft gun including me

  • reload needs to be bright farther in and you need to turn the gun to see the magwell

  • I once saw a video of Todd Jarrett talking about the footwork while firing. He said that even if you're firing to the side, the gun will bounce less if you're walking one foot in front of the other.

Of course, your mileage may vary. But here's the link. Just remove the space.

  • Rock on man, good form, nice reload, move'n'shootin', very nice. Airsoft is an excellent way to train, not as loud, less safety issues, and more realistic than paintball.

  • keep the gun in the facebox during your reloads. You'll save tons of time throughout a match by no bringing your gun down and back up and you also won't have as far to go to get your sight picture back either.

  • all heart. I pray my country never makes handguns that hard to own. IPSC airsoft is a viable solution when it has to be used.

  • check the mag swap, fluid movement!!!

  • Airsoft is a good safe way to train. I dont see why people have probloms with it.

  • Not everyone lives in a pro-gun country, and even then, not everyone lives in a pro-gun state!

  • well reloading and movement are the same. His aim is perfect. It would just be regaining sight picture he would have to practice. I think he would do fine with real steel, with a little orientation.

  • Is that a rubber mat on the ground? I assume that is what keeps you from breaking the feed lips on your magazine when you drop it?

  • good shooting ;)

  • ^_^
