awesome post. i was surprised at how relevant this album sounded when it dropped because the guys had been around for ten years when it was released. but it goes to show, these guys are for real and i think kate hudson lent some youthful influence to the album artwork n stuff

For this band..... this live performance lacks the vibe, the intimacy and

soul the previous line up always LAID DOWN. No color AT ALL

This sounds tight..... Tight (not in a loose/groovy) way. It sounds like a Rich

jam session....... I CAN GO ON.......

i love the crowes.. def top 3 of my fav bands.. but i wish they played a little more like they used to... a little more rock and less jamming.. dont get me wrong the jams are great.. but they sound to much like the allman brothers.. i liked it better when they were just ripping song after song... and btw chris's voice live sounds so beat up.. may need a little rest.. but all in all GREAT BAND thought i'd share that thought

i stand corrected... this video proves how great the crowes are... lots of guitar solos but not to long.. i saw them like 5 timews in the last 2 yrs and chris barely sang it was all guitar.. kinda boring.. but this is rock at its finest thanks for the post!!!

Lions was a great album. The more i listen to it the more i fall in love with (Lickin, Cypress Tree, etc.). Only BC album that i really didnt favor all that much was 3 snakes and a charm.

I love Greasy Grass River.

It is pretty fashionable to dump on Lions. It really isn't my favorite Crowes album, but there's some great stuff there. I'm really looking forward to new stuff

I saw this concert at the Beacon at New York. Love this album. They play their Teles, and Gibsons properly. Is that Kate hudson sitting with Rich's wife at one point, behind Chris?
