@hassanzass There is no such thing as "killing music". If you don't like MIDI, that's great, I respect that and you're probably not alone. But the truth is that lots of people do like to use MIDI and that it creates a lot of possibilities that couldn't be explored by just using physical instruments.

It's not because many popular producers are using technological tricks to flood the market with cheap music, that the technology itself is bad. It says more about the bad taste of most people.

We're not all milionare musicians i'm afraid. It's just what we can do for now, which is admittedly not much. Think how tough it used be doing home tape demos. Besides, there's nothing stopping you from mic'ing up an instrument and using Cubase or Ableton or Logic to record it.

Hey, everybody - I'm having a whore of a time with basslines and rhodes and sounds like this...when rendering them to audio, the sound comes out warbled! Does anybody know why? I usually end up exporting the MIDI file to Pro Tools where it bounces to audio without a hitch. Anybody got any insight to what's happening?

This guy gives good advice and is easy to understand. I have lots of experience with production and sound design but only using simpler, smaller studios.

I recently just started trying to figure out Cubase but it is a very massive studio and it can be pretty damn hard to find where everything is. This helped a lot with the basics.

Can anyone help me? In cubase, let's sayi upload 2 tracks, however one of the tracks has a bpm 128 and other has a bpm 132. Is their a way where i can set a master bpm/or change both of the bpms so they are the same????

Plus once you see whats done using the mouse,if you're a more advanced user, you can transfer what you know to you controller ^_^
