yeah sadly for those hardworking game devs you can't rip off their games on the PS3. they'll probably all shift away from the 360 soon enough just for that reason. they lose money on that system.

The 360 could be the greatest sytem ever IF Microsoft just budged up and fixed it. I noticed myself, though, that the systems vary with how well they work. The first 360 I got worked quite well. It lasted a very long time, even with my older brother working it to death playing live all the time. Then free replacement. that one lasted a few months, broke, got fixed with the penny trick, then broke again after awhile. Now we have an arcade, which seems to be working well. Hope yours does too.
I respect it for being a good game and all, but it's not something I can play, maybe if it had some really nice visuals or something I'd be able to get into it.
Even when sending it in in America, a lot of people get a refurbished one back, that red rings after 3 seconds. Fixing it yourself is easy and quick. The towel trick is a stupid route to go imo. Aside from overheating my xbox has so many errors it's not funny, I can't even turn it on with a controller or I get a system error. It's a suitable system and there are a lot of great games for it, but I agree the rate of system failure is laughable. I just alternate between 360, Wii, and PC.
I used to keep it horizontal, propped up on stuff to keep it cool, turns out standing it on the side like this made the system run much cooler so I've kept it like this for a year now.
I always check my 360, on both sides and it barely gets warm let alone hot.
