Awesome job, but to constructively offer up suggestion:

1. Start this off with the hook, as the original.

2. Add in the little swirl, like you have at 0:54.

3. Work on the lead sound itself (it needs a little more "fatness" to it, as well as a little slapback echo -- around 250ms, 30% feedback)

You do that, and you have this nailed...awesome recreation, overall. You're 95% there! =)

I rarely use presets, so I spent quite a while trying to create a sound that resembled the original. In the end I used a subtractor with 2 saw oscs, both on "-" mode, one octave apart, slightly detuned. LFO 2 to phase, 12dB lowpass filter, slight keyboard track. Then through a Unison set to about 25% wet and Scream tape algorithm, stereo imager to get it less wide. A flanger and various room and hall reverbs were added as mixer sends.

If I were to do it again I might try thor's multi-osc.
