I am a Turk also plays Saz, is, finally, our traditional instrument! I also play the guitar. Are they, however, no American?

I expect you are a much better Saz player than me @22Berkay I play guitar a lot more often than anything else. The guitar is not an American invention, they existed in Europe during the baroque period and can be traced back in origin to the Oud from Iraq. I'm from the UK.

That sounds wonderful being a traditional instrument of my country I have never heard it being played like that but its sounds great.

Why thankyou Mr Dragon. With such a long neck it wouldn't fit in an overhead locker on a plane though unfortunately. I'm thinking of looking for one of those Romanian blonde citterns for travel purposes.
